Is Roulette Better Than Bob's Mythic Dagger For My Build?

just did thunder division for Qira Hive and got the boots from the merchant. according to wynnbuilder the boots increase my dps by a lot more when i use roulette instead of mythic dagger (probably because of the attack speed), but is the difference in dps really that big?

(also i know my build isnt the best especially for lvl 80, i just prioritize xp bonus on my armour wayyy more than i should)

Yes, the difference really is that big, but keep a few things in mind:
1. Like you said, roulette is super fast attack speed so it benefits much more from raw melee damage.
2. This counts roulette as having the maximum amount of possible thunder damage. Which is alot when we're talking about 1154%. If your roulette 'only' has like 500% it'll be much worse.
3. No powder slots have been used on bobs mythic daggers. This not only increases DPS but can also give a powder special.
4. You didn't use the extra skill points provided by bob's mythic daggers


Roulette is probably the strongest weapon out there at around that level if you have a good one. And it allows you to have good DPS without other gear to boost your damage. Since you value xp, I'd say use roulette.

 

my roulette has a bit over 900% thunder damage, and i dont know what powders i should put on bobs mythic daggers (i dont really have an element-specific build)
and i used wynntils to open the build in wynnbuilder and i thought it already included the skill points from the mythic daggers, sorry
