Personal Achievement Unlocked:

Beat The Corrupter of Worlds at the lowest possible level (68), solo.

Took me 5 attempts, 3 of which ended after CoW got stuck in the ceiling and could still be damaged by Smoke Bomb, but the Heart was un-recoverable. So technically I killed him 4 times, but only one legitimately.

This might not be much to some of you, but to me, it's a big deal. I've played Wynncraft off and on (mostly off) since waaay back in the VIP Town days.

But this is the first time I've made it this far. The first time walking through those Temple gates (after 8 years!)... and I did it all for myself, no one to carry me or help me. I feel pretty accomplished.

Congrats, CoW can be difficult at times if you go in blind.

Also, a little off topic, Temple of Legends seriously needs a rework. One of my least favorite quests atm.

My problems are...

-Giant Fetch Quest.

-Super annoying as a first time player.

-Even though not a horrible thing, boss can be pretty difficult at lvl 68 at times, which leads to my next point.

-Reward just not worth it anymore, whats the point in doing all this fetching and a difficult boss fight for a sub-par grind spot and the Bob's weapons which aren't that good anymore? I really miss the old days where completing a quest of this importance actually meant something to me.

 

actually both the grind spot AND bob's weapons were buffed recently, the weapons are pretty good now (+10 rainbow sp), though I haven't tested the grind spot. you also get a boss altar and its drops, alongside a tome slot i guess

 

I see, thats good to hear cause I haven't played this game in a min. For me personally the quest just doesn't give you the same feels as it once did.

EDIT: This doesn't change the fact that the actual quest isn't that good rn

 

I did the same thing, but I used a bunch of skill potions and had to take advantage of his elemental weaknesses so it took a lot of strategy

 

I didn't use any stat pots on my successful attempt, but I did develop a strategy that worked:
Drop smoke bombs when you can to slow him down, Mutlihit to knock him away (careful though, MH is how he got stuck in the ceiling 3 times), and Vanish if you get caught in HIS Multihit. Use Vanish to run to he other side of the arena to recover mana and just keep spamming MH/SB till he dies.

CoW is like the first really hard boss in the game so its certainly an accomplishment

 

The quest is annoying I agree with you there but Stave Of Legends is pretty damn good, works well till like 80-90

 

Nicely done! I wanna flex too: I beat Death (ToA) 3rd try on mage lvl 75 solo. Could've been less if I didn't TP into his multihit the first two attempts. But alas, I did, and died instantly.

I like how the only classes I did CoW on are the ones that have it easy (assassin, archer, mage). I'm gonna do it on shaman next tho so...
