The French Catholics killed, in this attack called the St. Bartholomew's Day Massacre, between 5,000 and 10,000 protestants within 24 hrs. The pope in Rome was so happy with this that he organized festive prayers to celebrate the occasion and hired Giorgio Vasari to decorate one of the Vatican's rooms with a fresco of the massacre. Reason: I love mage and am personally trying to get one of every mage mythic. Lament is a good choice for my next one because I generally play a pretty supportive role (raids n stuff)
France: I like that they keep doing so many revolutions. The upper classes just kind of have to watch their backs at all times because the french populace has an annual tradition of rioting.
