Guide Seasoned Level 80 Player's Class Viewpoint

WARNING: The following content will be so cringe-worthy your eyes will bleed out and you'll be gasping for air while laying on the floor struggling to live. Please spare me if my opinions don't match with yours ㅠoㅠ.

Warrior (idiot actually wrote knight before edit lol) : Welcome red mage! Be aggressive and kill mobs! Great at tanking and soloing bosses. Very slow movement spell early game but it's probably the most fun movement spell late game.

Mage: Be a blue mage and sling some spells! A support/tank style build will allow you to solo bosses and carry your team to victory! Also solid movement spell.

Shaman: Green mage! Smash and stomp! Crowd control I guess? Not very useful in boss fights but very useful in grind parties and mob grinding for loot. Hardest class to level up in my opinion. You're not very helpful early game and die a lot. You'll probably just end up doing quests and just barely managing to survive. Throw the movement spell into a trash can.

Archer: Yellow mage, move like Sonic! Say hello to damage. You probably know archer pretty well. Ye speed 3 for 1 mana? Deal.

Assassin: Sneak in with your white mage abilities and surprise your enemies! Very hard class to pilot at endgame since you will have to kill mobs, tank, get life steal and mana steal triggers meanwhile also not dying. Personally, it's the hardest class to pilot (had it as 'not that fun' and personally had a bit of fun early game so I delete).

mmmm shaman is the king of earlygame once you learn how to look straight up/down and press rlr for totem. Actually absurd how free its earlygame is, only maybe second to archer.
couple that with how busted earlygame poison is and everything just dies.

icy icy. never played shaman properly i guess. it was my first class after all. ty for the info. il be leveling up a new shaman class in 2 years bc i deleted a lvl 103 shaman lol

 

I mean, technically, the class is "warrior" (the cosmetic rank version is "knight")

ok but i unironically think this is a decent assessment, other than assassin being not fun

 

on the contrary, i think assassin is pretty consistent in all respects compared to other classes like archer (lower survivability, poor close combat), mage (low damage), and shaman (cc reliance). the claim's also symmetric since it holds for every other class not opting for spellspam.

 

each and every class has an upside and a downside. in my opinion, assassin just has so many things it has to do at the same time to be viable.

 

No, no no.
The movement spell is great (at least compared to archer and mage - the only other classes I've used).
With Teleport and escape, you pick a general direction in which to move and hope you'll get there.
Teleport especially is annoying because it doesn't let you teleport close to blocks.
Haul, however, pulls you towards where your totem is.
Got it in the wrong spot? Recast the totem.
Yeah, sometimes it's a bit over, but just haul again and you get pulled straight back towards it.

I'm not entirely sure what you're talking about here?

 

if you're skilled enough, it's not guesswork. both classes are capable of using their 2nd spells for precise movement.
