Master Piece Quest, Food Storage Key

I haven't been able to find the Food Storage Key needed to enter the pig's area. Do any of you know how to get it?

 

Kill one of the alligator enemies with more health and a different model than the others - that one should drop the key.

 

So I killed both the Hungry Alligators and Alligator leader and nothing. The Key didn't drop for me.

 

I just checked ingame, and the key did drop from the Alligator Leader for me. It did appear on the ground as a small candle item so you might not have noticed it. If it still doesn't drop for you, I could maybe try meeting up with you ingame to see if it drops for me and then I would open the door.

Hey again, I went back on another version, after a few more leveling up, I made the leader drop it. Thank you for your help!
