That might work actually. I just went with the assumption that the people who solely bought it for bomb bell for example would get upset regardless of what's put in its place. And I might've had that assumption wrong or too exagerrated.

 

Another idea: they could change the bomb bell to create a nerfed bomb once a day(/week if too busted) (eg. 1.5x xp). Wynn still gets bomb money, champs get a buff, bomb parties are encouraged and not instantly dominated by champs, everyone's happy

Sorry, it was poor phrasing.
It's that everyone complains about things being 'p2w' and against Mojang's EULA, but it only exists because Wynncraft needs money to run.
Sometimes you have to sacrifice some things for more important ones.

 

Wynn was doing fine for the 8 years between vip town and this. And if they truly did need the money, they didn't have to make the rank p2w. People have been buying ranks for years for no reward other than cosmetics.

I think a decent amount of the people willing to spend $100+ on a rank are doing so to support the server more than for the benefits

 

What are pet tasks?

 

For this to make sense you first have to prove that
A: Wynncraft cannot make any more non-pay-to-win features and isn't making enough money.
or B: Wynncraft can add more non-pay-to-win features, but they still wouldn't make enough money. (In which case, they should have tried adding these first.)
and C: Wynncraft deserves to exist if it can't sustain itself through non-pay-to-win means.

You're presenting a false dichotomy. There's more to it than a choice between 'pay-to-win or Wynncraft dies'.

 

so basically, if you are a champion you can get your pet to do stuff for you, like bank items or repair crafted stuff.

The thing that pisses me off the most is that moderators, admins nor ct ever reply to any of these threads. It seems like they are just running away from the responsibility, let alone defend the features of champion in any way. Hell, even some of the champions themselves are complaining about these features, yet still jack shit changes
