Mage/Dark Wizard Help Improvements?

The stats shown ingame are (as far as I know) often inaccurate. It's much better to insert your build into an online builder (WynnBuilder or WynnData).

Your original build looks very solid to me. I only changed the rings but it made a big difference in EHP:

Sparking plate is nearly pointless, and tenuto can be replaced with contrast, since the +7 mana regen in total is enough with 1 cost meteor and tp. Ensa's failure doesn't seem worth the -hp. There's other alternatives that are better in general

 

Legs: Replace Dark Shroud with Vaward as your brainwash should have at least 3/4 mana steal. The spell damage loss isn't worth it, you get a better heal and the walk speed isn't useful.

Bracelet: Diamond static bracelet ASAP, you knew this.

Necklace: tenuto or contrast to combat the -health regen from slayer, but I'd stick with tenuto.

How is Sparking plate useless? provides - mana usage on all spells, gives an extra or 2 casts of meteor at 1 mana.

 

Tp and meteor are already at 1 cost. Heal only goes down by 1 to become 5, which is still at a point where it's not really good to spam. Sparkling plate doesn't affect ice snake.

Granted, sparkling plate isn't a terrible choice, but I just want to point out that 1 less mana on a spell that isn't cast that much isn't terrible helpful. However, the health regen to balance slayer's -hpr, and the defensive sp both are useful

more defensive option assuming you have a -51% or better fatal, -76% makes it even easier to play
