Elemental Housing Proof Of Concept

I decided to start construction on my housing area for a couple of hours, and I wanted to ask for some feedback and tips before getting too far ahead. The picture below is my current progress on the house, and I want to also explain a few things about it. The theme is meant to be the four elements of the game (I excluded thunder since there just aren't enough blocks for a good thunder color palette). I want to also make each corner (such as the "air" one I've already built) branch back inward at the top to merge and "hold" something. Any ideas as to what that could be? Lastly, this base is meant to be item bomb party friendly. Would you say it looks successful with this? Overall, any feedback or advice would be appreciated! :D
