Why Is A Bee Following Me?

    I was just playing, then all of a sudden this bee starts following me.

    It attacked other mobs but did no damage. Why is it following me?

    Mobs with a blue name tend to follow you around; since the bee has a lot of health for your level, you'll have to get the bee far enough so it stops following you

    It is a following Defensive Mob, which follows you around and sometimes attacks Hostile Mobs. Although I have considered them rather annoying, as I really never needed their help.
