SPOILER Is Salted Teasing Something Here Or Am I Immensely Stupid (i Am)

Today, Salted tweeted this masterpiece:

This was obviously created as a joke on the GM servers, but I noticed something about this image.

Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but that seems to be a new area in the background? I don't think I know any area currently in the game that looks like this. An area comprised of bricks and stone, with blue roofed houses is not something I can find on the map. There also seems to be some kind of eco cave entrance and the tower on the house looks incomplete (though that could be from the chunk not rendering)

If anybody recognises this area then please tell me because I'm not sure. It could be the revamp of a location for the next update or a new area entirely if it isn't already on the map. The building looks somewhat akin to the bank in Selchar (and dark prismarine is only used for roofs at lake Gylia, a water themed area) so it could be a WIP Selchar revamp but the area looks too big and rocky for that. However, it would make sense to revamp Selchar considering the recent Seaskipper changes and its old builds.

The important question to ask here though is why they would place this joke model at a WIP area instead of the superflat plains seen in TommyInnit's Wynn video. I thought it could be to intentionally tease the new area but again it looks incomplete and I don't think an incomplete build would be publicly teased.

More likely, though, this is just a joke post with no relevance and I'm looking too deeply.

Jokes aside it's too early to tell, and content is sometimes made years in advance so it's no use guessing at any rate

 

ah. that explains it. salted the hero and his origin story. it's all coming together.

But in all seriousness, there's multiple caves like that and the secret discovery has an obvious trail of bones + isn't on a hill

I dunno, man, would seem pretty stupid to show a screenshot of content lined up for a really far-off update like that

 

As funny as it would be, sadly no, that stone brick mountain monstrosity is my warp where I stick all my models.
(I made it to piss off Quint because they were watching me build and I was like hmm today I will terrain with stone brick to give builders a stroke)
I just made that salted orphion model as a joke and stuck that on one of the hills and I guess salted found it and tweeted about it.

There's normally some kind of 'teaser' that we never pick up on until the actual trailer update at the end of the year xD

Maybe a weapon skin/change, mob riding, a change to Orphion in some way, or perhaps the 'buff Salted' is a sneaky way of saying that our pets will get a buff?!

 

Nope, Kiocifer confirmed in this thread that this is just his warp on the build servers and that Salted must have found it and tweeted it
