Quest Troubles Lol. Help Please!!

hello! i have 2 problems.

1st one is a little more simple. to get a lost quest item i did the /fixquests thing and it worked (thank u!), but now i have a bunch of useless previous quest items that i dont need anymore and it cant throw them out or anything. is there a way to delete those items or do i have to store them in my bank forever lmao

2nd one is im currently trying to complete 'wynncavation site b' and according to the wiki page the npc flendar was supposed to 'push' me into the hole next to him but he didnt? i got the text in the chat "you were pushed into the hole..." but.....i was not. i even tried jumping into the hole myself to get transported to the dark mines where its supposed to take me but that didnt work either :(
i rejoined the server + joined a different world as well and i remain unsuccessful. idk what to do!! is there a restart quest command or something

 

For the first one fill your inventory and put the unwanted items into your crafting grid then close your inventory

for the first one you can put the unwanted items in the crafting grid and fill up the rest of your inventory slots and then close it, and poof! No more quest items.

For number 2 you can actually talk to the NPC if you haven't tried that, you can also switch version (if all else fails use 1.12.2) or make sure youre on an unmodded client.
