Shaders + Texture Pack = Really Bad Fps

Hi guys!

I'm a total new guy around here who just started playing, and I'd like to use shaders with the texture pack, but no matter which one I try, the FPS is at about 30, however, without the texture pack, for example the BSL runs at 180 on High preset. Before I started playing, I read that a lot of people uses shaders with Wynncraft, but how are you doing it with such performance-loss? Is there a way to fix it a little?

I removed most of the blocks, and now I have a decent performance with both shaders and resource pack on.

 

dont use a texture pack theres no reason to

What kind of shaders are you using?

 

BSL shaders

 

I'm not 100% sure, but your performance issues could be caused by the version of the shaders you're using. Wynncraft is recommended to be played on ver. 1.12.2, so a shader pack that is a later version could be attributing to your drop in frame rate.

Otherwise, I'd say fiddle around with some of the optifine/shader settings to try boost your performance.

 

Personally, I would say that 1.16 is faster because of all the performance mods you can get.

 

Wait, were you using the wynn texturepack or another one? Definitely don't play without the wynnpack, pretty much nothing will make sense if you don't use it.

 

30 FPS isn't too bad...

First of all BSL works on 1.12.

Second of all 1.16 has really good clientside performance, especially in rendering and chunk loading. It just has terrible (but better than 1.14) server performance.
