If anything, Corruption is a force of chaos, mindless, destructive...

 

Well, in the quests and discoveries there are many references to Bak'al as a leader of corruption. You guys might say that he is just an antagonist who wants to destroy the world by using corruption, but again, it is actually confirmed that he's a leader of it. Why are you guys so concerned about it? Better questions are why does Bak'al serves Dern Beast and who is Dern Beast itself, like what is it's gender, name, how does it look like.

Sorry, I was wrong and I guess not only me. It actually turns out to be the other way. It's confirmed by the wiki, that corruption itself doesn't serve Dern, only Bak'al does.

 

Important question:
Why does the corruption, an evil force usually associated with the colours red and black, have such a pink, cutesy banner?
