I Have Discovered Something That Will Change The Look Of Wynncraft Forever...

I don't know how many of you already know about this Wynntils feature I discovered. If you have'nt heard about it yet, I highly recommend trying it.

The Wynntils feature is called "Cache Chunks".
It basically makes the world look very big, because you can see further than normal. Wynncraft uses a fast world loading feature to reduce lag. Thats why the world looks very small. You can only see a limited number of chunks in front of you when you walk around. Thats why you cannot see the Gert camps when you're near the airships of Letvus aisbase. They are too far away.

That all changes if you enable this feature.
The chunks will be saved on your computer. That way the game can load the chunks without waiting for wynncrafts world loading. This will come at the cost of some space on your SSD/hard drive.

(btw I didnt load those chunks in manually. I loaded them in once and now they always load in automatically when I look at lake gylia. Just arrived by airship and the view is stunning.

How you enable it:
If you want to try it, remember to enable the "cutting edge" mode in Wynntils in the core settings. You need to download Wynntils, and enable a large render distance in your minecraft video settings. Then enable those two settings in the wynntils settings: https://imgur.com/a/bWvTfJC


Some more information & technical stuff:
If you enable it in the wynntils options, the mod will automatically save the chunks you see while you walk around. When you join the server, the saved chunks will be loaded in. The amount of chunks that get loaded in depend on how big your render distance is (minecraft options). You wont see that far the first time you enable it. But once you walked through the world with the feature enabled you will notice that a lot more of the world gets loaded in. Just walk around the maltic plains and you will see that you can see all of the hills and every house.
If you have an SSD in your computer those chunks will load in quite fast, otherwise they will load in a bit slower. I noticed some screen tearing when I zoomed in and this feature was enabled. If you have a freesync/gsync monitor and a compatible graphics card I recommend enabling freesync/gsync or any other varibale refreshrate technology. If you dont have such a monitor you can try to enable v-sync in the minecraft settings. This will cap your FPS to 60. Also do not disable this feature once you bothered to load in all of wynncraft. If you disable it, all the chunks will be deleted. If you just want so see less chunks again turn down the render distance in the minecraft video settings.

The feature itself does not affect your FPS in a significant way. Im playing on a three year old laptop with integrated graphics... I know what I'm talking about. You might get less frames per second depending on your render distance settings.
