What's The Current Shaman Meta?

I'm just curious what some of the more optimal and viable builds with Shaman are. My current guesses are that EWA, EWF, and others like them are the more effective ones.

 

At endgame spell shaman gets walled by CCI, so most people use melee/heavy poison shaman AFAIK. Shaman's low base defense mixed with the existence of CCI kinda messes spell shaman up, but it's definitely usable.

 

Personally, I use a Water Spell build (with Morph), but this isn't as good post-1.20
I believe that melee is pretty popular though.

 

shaman is still pretty solid despite what so many people claim about CCI. its ability to tackle fights uniquely and deal with large amounts of enemies is still strong. as a raider, shaman is strong in pretty much every challenge room, and has a nice niche in the orphion boss fight by being able to deal with all the mob spam. as for the meta, no one uses ewa, archetypes like ewf, twf, and twfa are the best for spellspam since cryo and panic zealot are the best reliks for spell. tfa lumina tierstack is also extremely powerful. and as for mythics fantasia is the go to spell relik (and is actually really cheap by mythic standards for how powerful it is), with toxo, aftershock, and absolution also being really powerful

So I’m also a shaman that’s pretty new to Wynn (and rpgs in general). This is pretty seems helpful since I’ve been trying to get some takes on how people typically play shaman, but I’m not sure what any of the build acronyms stand for. I’m guessing CCI is crowd control based, but could someone explain the others (ewa and ewf)?

EWA = Earth-Water-Air
EWF = Earth-Water-Fire
