Assassin/Ninja Help Heavy Melee Raids

Would heavy melee assasin be viable for raids and for li after buff? If so, could someone post a heavy melee build that can do both raids and li?

I've soloed LI in 1.20 with this before, dual wielding with anvil crawler for a bit more damage. Even though the damage is bad having agility is really nice with heavy melee.

This standard heavy melee build can work, but I find it struggles against ranged bosses. You can swap fractureds for downfalls for more dps.

This one is mostly a joke but does work to an extent. If you pull a movement spell at the wrong time you're screwed. Like the time I charged into death metals multihit spam. This build is fun but use at your own risk. The damage is higher than it looks because you get free spells and copies of your main attack meaning you can attack more then once in 2s. If you get tired of madness use atlas, momentum, or even clockwork

 

Can heavy melee be used for raids to any extent? Maybe even wars?

 

definitely grootslang. I think colossus would have issue with the fact that you can fall off in the boss fight (makes madness useless and the basic build has very low walk speed) orphion is a maybe. I don’t really know, I don’t do raids often

 

heavy melee is still very powerful (especially for assassin) but from my experience it tends to struggle in raids compared to tierstack

 

For this build, do you think it could work against Orphion and the Collosus?

It's definitely useable by all means (anything is if you're good enough) but tierstack is just better if you like melee.
