Mage/Dark Wizard Help Monster + Trift Build

I was thinking of getting a monster and I want a nice raid/li build that uses monster and trift w/o resurgence bc im poor. I was also wondering if trift+monster is effective or if there are better builds.

 

Does require 1 skill point tome in intelligence or defence in order to hit 129 int. Alternatively use Dragon's Eye Bracelet.

An alternative, tankier version compared to the one BlueTheSniper gave with high lifesteal/sustain. About the same damage, but has no mana regen. It requires no tomes.

A time rifted 5/3 manasteal should be enough to sustain mana.

However, if you really worry about it, you can replace the bracelet by Atlas, in order to push attackspeed to Super Slow, thus making it easier to use Courage and Mana Steal:

In theory, this build works better with Courage Time Rift stack as well, resulting in better DPS than the non-Atlas bracelet version, I think

BlueTheSniper's build is better if you prefer a higher base mana regen.

 

Is using timerift with monster worth the extra damage or should I just stick with a typical monster endurance build?

 

Time Rift is actually alot more damage if you are able to stack Courage due to time rift mechanics.

It depends on what you want, really. Investing in more tankiness would be overkill for alot of content(LI, raids, dungeons).
