Help With "the Hero Of Gavel" Quest

in the hero of gavel quest, im at the part where i am trying to leave with siegfried, we got past the teleporter (so i can't go back to the launch pad, lava pads and that stuff to kill him anymore)< and basically in order to leave, it's saying i need to get a parachute and boots for siegfried, and i got the parachute, but there is no way to make boots. i looked it up on the wiki, and apparently in one of the first sections of the cave area, you're supposed to get soft slime to make the boots, but i unfortunately did not get said soft slime, and now im in a stage where i can't get it, and there's no way to go back to the stage where it is (i tried to /kill, and go back to the cave, but it instantly teleported me to where i was, the final stage of the cave area, still unable to go back to previous sections). and as mention, i can't kill siegfried now either, so i have literally no way of completing the quest as he won't let me leave without boots.

 

You only need one of them. So if you have the parachute, you're already good to go.

 

I have neither, I can only make the hard leather boots

 

I thought you said you had the parachute?

For anyone that hasn't been able to escape: If you have another class that can complete the quest, either get multiple of the items or save the boots when you escape solo. Then just go back to the quest with the items and it'll work like normal.
I still hope this gets fixed because not everyone has multiple classes that are lvl 99...
