Lore/Story Young!captain Seaskipper X Female, Mage!reader Part 2

AN: if you haven't read the first section of this, please read it before reading this one. This will not make sense otherwise.

Copper smiled the brightest smile he'd ever had when your name became (y/n) Seaskipper on your wedding date. It was all you'd dreamed. Plus, you were pregnant with his first child.

You cradled your third child in your arms as she fell asleep. You had had two girls and a boy so far, and was getting old to have kids. The young love was over, but the sparks were still there between you two.

Your youngest child was 15 now, the middle 18, and the oldest 21. There was a letter in the mail addressed to you. It read:
'Dear (y/n) Seaskipper,

There is an emergency on Mage Island! It's an outbreak in a cave below the island! There are creatures of a bluish-green color on the island. I need you as backup!

You gasped in horror. "Copper!" You yelled "Set course to Mage Island! It's urgent!" Without a second thought, trusting you completely, he turned the wheel around quickly and set course for Mage Island.
Upon arrival, you saw boats evacuating the citizens. "Copper. Stop at the dock." You commanded. His boat stopped and docked, and he asked me "What's going on, (y/n)?" "We have an infestation of evil sea creatures coming onto the island. My sister asked for my help, but its worse than I thought." You looked at the horizon. "I just hope I make it out alive." You grabbed your staff and ran off, not knowing that those would be the last words you ever said to him.

3 weeks after this incident, your funeral was being held on Selchar. You sacrificed yourself to save five young children from one of the creatures, killing it in the process of dying. Everyone was safe at the cost of only one life. Yours.
