Any Profession What Crafting Profession Should I Do.

I wanna do either potions, food, or scrolls. Which one takes less time to get to a good level.

 

They all take an equal amount of xp iirc. Cooking is the least popular and possibly the lease effective. Scrolls are nice because they benefit everyone but potions might be more effective

The other guy was technically right in saying they all have the same XP requirements, but they're not equally easy to level since not every profession has easy to get ingredients at every level. Alchemy and food are easily the easiest, the first few scribing levels aren't too bad but levels 40-80 are absolute hell to do, even with double XP on. I would recommend against scribing unless you know what you're getting into.

Speaking from experience of having them all leveled, cooking is the most practical for actual use since food is cheap and easy to make. Food can also be good early on (level 50+) since while the buffs aren't huge, they're still buffs which can last a really long time and it's super easy to farm for good food drops. I would say alchemy is the next best, it's super easy to level past 70ish and there are some great potion ingredients, though potions tend to be more difficult to make then food and the buffs don't last as long so I don't really think they're all that useful outside of something like LI, EO or raids. Scrolls are the least useful unless all you're doing is raids since they tend to have the weakest buffs and the only advantage is the fact that it applies to everyone. Your raid party might love you, but I don't think it's worth the effort, especially since as I mentioned, scribing is the hardest to level by a lot.
