Guide Simple Eye Tips And Tricks

(Took inspiration from @highbread’s Ultimate Eye Guide)

these are the tricks I use when fighting the Eye


(When I say wretches I mean gazers. Also, as an extra note, when the deathknell wretch comes a bunch of gazers spawn too. If you have good AOE damage you can kill them all in one fell swoop.)

Tips:

1. Don’t stay in one place or purple circles will demolish you
2. The first spell of every Eye phase is wave
3. In the first and second phase gazers will only spawn when dealing damage to the Eye. You can use this to back off and regen, or if you’re running a ranged Spellsteal class you can also hang back and grind lifesteal since that’s usually not enough damage to proc gazers. Gazers also have fast attack speeds and do rainbow damage, meaning they can wreak havoc if you have bad ele defs
4. Eye Lasers do true damage (Which ignores defense) and deals 3k damage usually, but can be finicky sometimes and hit for 9k
5. Two Eye spell combos everyone should know: Meteor-Meteor-Meteor, and Storm-Meteor-Storm (the eye will have white particles before casting spell, as all Wynn bosses do)
6. Gazers spawn in pairs in the Eye’s third phase, and will continue to spawn until it reaches a maximum of 2 gazers in the arena (meaning there will only “naturally” be 2 gazers in play, but more will come if a Deathknell Wretch is summoned)

   Numbers not applicable for group play, more than 2 will spawn
7. The Eye “vores” at certain health threshholds and will push you back beforehand, allowing you to anticipate and dodge the vore
8. When the Deathknell Wretch spawns, you have to kill it, not just stop it from reaching the Eye

Anyways, hope this guide helps some people, it’s not super in-depth, but it’s stuff that’s easy to remember and might save a run.

Tip 1: Just use heavy melee with quake and destroy him (save a quake when a deathkneel wretch spawns). EZ clap

The most annoying thing is wave because I can't literally see it when there are too many particles (especially shaman whose aura skill uses same particle)

If you set particles low the wave's particle also decreases and confuses you even more

 

You actually don't even need the quake
