Hello! I'm RyderWxnted. I'm Combat Level 35 ingame but I'm new to the forums so I don't really know how formal formats of forums work. Anyways the topic would glitches and lag. during certain quests throughout my journey to combat level 35, I've faced lost of items because of the game glitching me onto a block continuously 3-5 times causing me to /kill repeatedly and to lose items because of drop rate of soul points. This is probably common along the player problems of journey. Lag problems are caused in most of the missions or during explorations. I was helping out a friend earlier and I was lagging like crazy in Decript Sewers when going down the stairs and going up the stairs on both gates.
    These are my system specifications:
Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce 2070 RTX
    RAM: 16 GB
    HDD: 1TB
    SSD: 500GB
    Processor: Intel Core i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz

My fps within optfine version of 1.16.1 is capped in average of 45/39 whereas I get over 200 on other servers. any solution?

As far as I know, the lower FPS is normal and comes from Wynn’s use of custom item models. I myself see a great increase in frames when using a simpler model for my weapon. So when in an area like Detlas with many players and item models the FPS is bound to be low. Also the particles Wynn uses can decrease performance. I have nearly the same system as you, just another CPU, and what you’re describing is exactly what I experience. If you need more FPS I would recommend trying other performance increasing mods instead of Optifine as it isn’t the best. I’d go with Sodium and Phosphor and see if that makes a difference. Although those mods don’t have all the features of Optifine.

EDIT: You glitching in to blocks seems like a connection issue.

Is it correct to assume from your first post that you're using the 1.16.1 version of OptiFine?

If so please try booting up a minecraft instance in 1.12.2, with matching optifine for said version. Since I'm pretty sure Wynncraft also runs in 1.12.2.

Furthermore if you're still lagging out try using the command "/toggle ghosts none" to turn off the player ghosts from other lobbys. And otherwise all the usual, turn down quality, turn off shaders if you're using them.
Lastly try decreasing your render distance, Wynncraft's render distance is capped at 9 chunks, so having a higher render distance than that is a bit pointless.

    Hope this helped!

I just did some light testing. With Sodium, Phosphor and Lithium I averaged about x2 the FPS I had in non-modded minecraft. From 40 FPS in Detlas to 80 FPS. That is with playerghosts on. Outside of Detlas on the Wynn plains I got over 200 FPS. So I highly recommend those mods over optifine and playing in a version below 1.16. Also someone in the Wynn community made a mod to lessen the need for rendering chunks. As in you could play on like 4 chunks render distance and it still looking good. https://forums.wynncraft.com/threads/mod-socks-render-distance-extendinator-9000.288873/

EDIT: Realized I got the purpose of the render distance extender mod wrong. So probably don't use it.

@Moderabo For mods like Phosphor and Sodium, can they be used together with Forge and Wynntils?

No. For two reasons. Firstly Wynntills is only for Forge, while Sodium, Phosphor, and Lithium is only for Fabric. Secondly Wynntills only exists for 1.12 when Sodium, Phosphor, and Lithium is only for 1.15+.
