What's Your Wynncraft Unpopular Opinion?

yeah AJB (detlas to lutho) took me more than ten minutes to do, pushing up on twenty maybe? to be fair i was a little less focused and talking to someone but AJF (lutho to EO) took me almost no time

 

1: i prefer the 1.20.1 dialogue system, unless they change shift to swap hands
2: why do some class slots have to be behind a paywall? Imagine, you’re addicted to wynncraft, but you’re unable to or do not wish to buy a rank, then all of a sudden all your class slots get filled, that player will run out of things to do quickly. It’s kinda just sacrificing some players for a little bit more money, and I don’t like it
3: Nemract is one of the best towns there is
4: Wynncraft is really bad at advertising. I’ve only seen a tiny amount of videos where people have been sponsored to play Wynn, and I know tons of yters who would be interested in this kinda stuff
5: i use wynntils but I hate people who just bully people for not using it
6: The silent expanse is far too short lived of an area

i cant say i really agree with this, wynn excavation as a whole has aged super poorly. but yeah ive seen this take a lot and im not sure exactly why its a thing? i guess maybe nostalgia, but if you look at the quests they all just kind of suck compared to newer content

 

I strongly agree about ??? it needing people literally to just stand on pressure plates is super annoying and I am very surprised at that being an unpopular opinion.

This is far from an unpopular opinion...

 

The quests, while simple, are pretty of fun. The dialogue and overall plot are okay, and they feel like there's a reason you're running around in a cave, beyond "fetch this". Almost a Tomb Raider-y vibe. They don't have a ton of stages and teleporting around and glitchy minigame-esque stages and cutscenes, and most of the stuff they do have is both fun and well implemented. They could use some polishing, but I think that if they had some slight updates to dialogue and level design, and more puzzles they'd be easily the best quests in the game. Nostalgia also definitely helps a little.

 

Fortuneteller? More like Fortunehell and Fortunenether-never-again.

I'm not going to let this game take my beans, so stop despawning this super tall beanstalk that I'm going to fall down 84 times because I'm bad at the game.

i like the questline because its fun and has a good story

anyway unpopular opinion: most of wynncraft's characters are good and people expect characters that only appear in one quest or in one quest segment to have more character development than a story protagonist, ava and lari getting the spotlight is because haha blocky woman is sexy not because they're the only two good characters in wynn

 

the heart of llevigar is underrated and one of my favorite quests in the game

in fact, puzzles a whole are underrated

 

I said this earlier when talking about eots, it had one of the best puzzles in the game. Both challenging and not annoying in the way the key one in flight in distress is.

That Ava is not cute, shes dumb af and not hot

 

In my opinion, the desperate metal puzzle is the most fun puzzle in the game. Even if you know what you're doing, it is still a nice challenge. I feel like too many puzzles in wynncraft have the opportunity to be difficult, but the solution is so easy to get to that it becomes mind-numbingly easy. The desperate metal puzzle, however, doesn't do that, which makes it very challenging and fun.

 

Wynncraft is based off of Lord of the rings

 

I mean Lord of the Rings basically codified modern high fantasy, and wynn is basically just a bag of high fantasy tropes, so realistically speaking this isn’t even much of an opinion, it’s just a fact, even indirectly.

 

unpopular opinion:
getting hashr claw and powdering it with t4 or t6 isn't worth the brain cells you will lose running the dungeon 5 times

 

T6 powders are far too expensive
