Any Tips For A New Player?

Hi i just started playing wynncraft yesterday and its really fun
I'm kinda clueless I've just been doing quests
are there any tips for a new player like me?

 

Don't do professions.
Don't put anything in strength or dexterity unless you need it for an item.
Also put this in questions next time

 

Play with friends!!! Wynn is so much more fun when you have friends!

Don't leave town under 6 soul points to avoid losing items- if you're low on soul points, play a different class, take a break, or server hop to find worlds near dawn!

Early game gear can be outleveled quick. Like potatomancer said dont do professions. Only do them if you like them and if you do its recommended to do it in the endgame. Do quests because xp, items and money is cool

 

Quests are good, I would do them and try to only grind when you need more xp to level up and you don't have any more quests.
The wiki has a newcomer's guide (https://wynncraft.fandom.com/wiki/Newcomer%27s_Guide_) which has a lot of nice info. The wiki in general is a great source of info, just watch out for spoilers :)
In general there's no "right" way to play the game, just do what you think is fun. I'd also encourage you to explore, the map is beautiful and there are lots of cool things you can find!

There is this thing called professions (you gather stuff like wood to craft gear) and unless you love grinding (and I mean, LOVE) I suggest not doing them
Quests are a very fun feature and I really suggest doing all of them on your 1st class
Item stats can be confusing so I suggest just using gear with highest lvl req, this is one of the things you keep understanding better and better the more you play
