Where Did Housing Enthusiasts Go?

Before 1.20 update, there were many housing enthusiasts yelling..

"Add housing on Wynncraft"




As you can see on the meme picture above, there were so many threads about housing in General Suggestion.

However..



When I try to search for housing, it's usually empty!
Where did all those enthusiasts go? Are they even using housing..?

Might be the forced requirement to do professions, might be the rank-locked features (yikes), could be... I don't know what else

 

Maybe they didn't set their houses public.

 

On paper housing was a good idea and it could have had potential to be implemented really well.

One reason why it isn't as popular is that it is really restrictive in terms of materials. In order to get any blocks, you need to get them from professions. On paper, a good idea, in practice, not so much considering there are level requirements to get even a nice looking piece of wood. Housing could've been a better way for people to occupy themselves but ended up being another tedious grind-fest. Not to mention, most people would rather level up their character's combat level or crafting level (which requires said profession materials) and rather not waste time grinding for blocks for what is essentially creative mode with no real goal or incentive to work towards. Housing in my honest opinion works better for minigame servers like Hypixel or Mineplex compared to something of the likes of Wynn which is already really grindy and time consuming.

 

I make my house public whenever I build, You've visited me before. I just haven't had as much time to build recently.

 

just change it so that you could visit housings even when its owner is offline.
there are plenty of people with something on their plot.
