The Life Of An Emerald

Emerald had a nice life. He was owned by a small family in Ragni, with a few of his friends. Sometimes they would be traded around for some items. It made Emerald feel important, I’m worth a spear!. Emerald had not left his friends’ sides for decades, they were always traded together.


Until one day, a wave of corruption hit the defenceless hut that Emerald was in. The humans that he was living with changed after being attacked. They became like the zombies that attacked them! Emerald and his friends lay still (which was quite easy, they practiced a lot), hoping desperately that they would be ignored. But, the new zombies grabbed an emerald each and stuffed it into their pocket, and one of them grabbed Emerald!


Emerald didn’t know what to do, he was separated from his friends, his entire life seemed to be ripped away from him. Emerald was distraught, he didn’t know how much time passed in that old, dirty pocket.


However, after nobody know how long, something amazing happened! Emerald felt the pocket ripping, and disappearing with the zombie in a poof of smoke, he looked, and there was a human, but Emerald had never seen anything like it! The human was holding a drawn bow, with a leather cap on his head. The human walked over, grabbed Emerald, and threw it into his pouch, inside, there were more things like potions, but more importantly... other emeralds!


The other emeralds informed Emerald that they had all been rescued from zombies like Emerald by the human, and that the human was called a player. Emerald was excited to be with his own kind again!


The player kept rescuing other emeralds, and before he knew it, Emerald had 63 new friends! However... the player reached in and grabbed all of Emerald and his friends, and gave them to a villager, which looked familiar to Emerald... it was an Emerald Merchant!


Emerald had heard stories about these evil villagers. His original family had warned him about them. They committed heinous acts, all the emeralds that went in there never came out the same. They were all squashed and beaten into blocks, never to talk or think again.


Emerald didn’t know what to do. He looked up at the villager, who was now wielding a hammer, and braced himself. Everything went dark as he heard a bang.



Emerald is now used to buy overpriced mythics.

You forgot to go into detail about how he was excavated from the earth many years ago and how he was refined into his current gem form

I hope the Liquid Emerald arc explains how the fuck melting the smashed blocks into liquid compresses them and makes them more convinient to carry.

 

I don't know what you mean! Everyone knows that melting things makes them more condensed, rather than expanding! And besides, who wouldn't want to carry around a bunch of 1400 degrees Celsius bottles in their satchel?

 

That's true. Hell, Worid even downs 63 of them and definitely didn't spend them!

If Worid can carry a stack inside of himself, does this mean...

WORID IS THE NEXT FORM OF EMERALD COMPRESSION!!??!?

 

A tragic tale, this has truly awoken me. From now on I will not convert emeralds into blocks but simply let them lie in their own bank slot, living a relaxing life.

 

The sequel is the emerald suddenly waking up as an overpriced mythic and taking revenge on the humnas.

 

Honestly, I want an Ark about reconverting.
Like, what happens when you go back to being an emerald from a block? And how the hell do you go back from being a liquid emerald to a block??? Tf.
