u can jump 33 block...

 

I think that actually means you can jump 34 blocks

Like, 3 jh is able to jump 3 blocks right? or am I dissociating? (Cuz I know +1 jh can jump 1.5 blocks, and 2 jh can jump atleast 2 blocks)

Anyways, thank you for listing all the jh stuff, I was thinking of looking it up, but never got around to it, lmao

 

Actually it's 1 + 1/2(jump height bonus), so 18 blocks

Jump height only applies one extra level of jump boost, which give an extra 1/2 block (unless they fixed this in 1.20, but I don't think they did)

A slightly lower jump height might allow for using a combo of aura and haul to deal massive amounts of damage, since haul deals a decent amount of damage (100%), and while aura deals twice that it takes time to complete. I guess you would cast aura, and while it completes you jump then haul to blast downwards and deal damage. Once aura completes you can use it to reset costs. I have no idea how practical this is, but it might be interesting.

 

you would think it works this way, but it does not

with 22 jump height i jump 31 blocks, and with 25 jump height i jump 37 blocks

 

Wait, what? I've checked the minecraft wiki and now I realise that my function isn't quite right (0.625 instead of 0.5), but it still shouldn't be that high. Is your jump boost something higher than 22 when you have that?

 

the number doesn't show in your inventory when it's that high so i checked with a mod and it's just 22 jump height. if you give yourself 22 jump height in a singleplayer world you also jump 31 blocks, so i have no idea what's going on there lol
