Art Wynncraft Pixelart: Rare Weapons

Arc Rifle
This one was a first try. There were no revisions done, this is the original sprite. Honestly I only did Arc Rifle because I was inspired by the name. Everything else was uninspired.
Fog of Creation
One of my simpler sprites. Might revise if I'm annoyed by my inadequacy enough.

The Specialist
It's a normal looking sword, except its shading is comprised of a rainbow. I'm a bit indifferent to this one.

Blur
It's sort of a rapier, except almost a bit sci fi? I think the slashing blurred line is cool.

Arkhalis
In Terraria, Arkhalis is a really fast sword. This kind of shows in its stats, as it is super fast with some main attack damage sprinkled in for extra spice. RIP light mode users, but the energy around the bulb is comprised of a thunder blade.

Eidolon
I tried to go for a bit of a ghostly spooky aesthetic, as Eidolon means spirit. It also does high melee damage, so I wanted it to look large and imposing.


Crack the Skies
I understand that nobody uses this weapon. I understand that even Zephra shredder is better. However, my love for this weapon comes purely from nostalgia. When I was going through my first playthrough as a mage, I remember being a level 50 in troms and picking up a Crack the Skies probably from some endgame player who threw it away. I was so in awe by its level and power, and crack the skies sounded so cool to me. Ever since, I've had an appreciation for this weapon. pls buff it in future updates.

Ok, I don't want to make a post about making unique weapons now. At this point, I've pretty much done everything I wanted to do in terms of sprites for items. Should I really do armor? I've tried before, it doesn't look too good at all. Take a look:

doing armor would be neat, especially since you could make a resourcepack with them

agree with kio, you could make a texture pack for armor. that would be so nice! :D

 

That helmet actually looks pretty nice, just make the stuff a bit more decorated and add some different colors, especially since it's literally got "Ornate" in the name.

 

Indeed and you don't have to work limited to 32x32 skins either. Here's something I made to showcase to my guild we could have our medals in-game...

Yeah, I'd be down for a resource pack that would let you use all of Green's cool pixel art ^-^

 

I always thought it was a decorated shadow. Like it had nothing else but black and greys and it was ornately decorated. Plus it makes sense since the item stats are completely neutral. Trust me, all armors won't look like this.
