SPOILER Why The Colossus Is Sus (theory)

So I was doin what any bored wynncraft player would do and ran around the new 1.20 gavel to see the new builds and noticed something suspicious.

Why are all these mid size colossuses beheaded?

There are 3 of the 5 of the mid size colossuses that are beheaded near cinfras by something maybe...
an colosSUS !

What if the Colossuses are THE IMPOSTERS. they are the only rocky boiz shown to hold weapons which are used to behead the mid sized colossuses.
ONE OF THEM WAS EVEN EJECTED INTO THE VOID BY THE SURVIVING MID SIZE COLOSSUSES!!!!!!



This dude is obviously proof that the giant colossuses walk around here and are responsible for the 3 dead colossuses.


Good news is that the thanks to us the players we are able to heal one of the colossuses and now there are 2 normal colossuses which will allow us to eject the last ColosSUS!!!!!!!!

legit going to report the next thread about amongus for "stupid among us memes"

 

Was 1/3 of the way through this thread and thought to myself "hmm why are they beheaded? this is actually a interesting find"

then I scroll down and it's among us meme #56


I'm fine with joke theories, but honestly, short threads like this capitalizing off a popular meme are getting kinda stale.

among us memes used to be somewhat funny but now they're just annoying

that being said, i'm curious about why they are all beheaded and will maybe look into it further

 

For a real theory I am 90% sure it was the bandits who took care of them.

They have their cannon perfectly aimed for this one and Camar mentions how Bandits are taken out alot by these rocky boiz which means they have been fighting them. The gavel government doesn't seem to be bothered with the bandits to much which since Ernold was working with them to shoot down that one airship. So I think the bandits work with gavel and are allowed to stay there as long as they take out the golems.

The only golem that is actaully not destroyed is this one grind spot one which both hands are buried and is smaller than the others and looks way different than the others with its non wooden eyes. This one may just be there to look cool or a relic from 1.19 gavel

 

The dude in the house describes them as ''being made of a metal that not even the Dwarves recognize'' so I doubt some measly cannons would be enough to take them out...

Edit: Not only that, but the Gavel government created Gavelexcavation who would probably be very interested in these golems for the purpose of historical research. Since the golems pose no threat, I doubt the government would encourage the Bandits to kill them. Plus, one of the severed heads is partially buried, so it is implied to have lost its head a loong time ago

 

They may also be asleep and creating the smaller Golems. If you look at pretty much all of them they seem to be making themselves apart of the ground. The gargoyles near the colossus and all the golems that are in his raid seem to be made by him. So It could be possible that these smaller ones are trying to do the same. Parts of their body like the head and arms seem to work fine even when detached as shown in the mid size golem discovery where he throws you off and the colossus raid where he throws off his head to fight you. So the detached heads and arms probably don't effect them that much. The grind spot golem seems to be spawning in golems too.

This doent really explain why one of them has their eye taken to the side of a mountain tho. maybe gavel excavation tried to take it? probably would have been in a box tho

Also the unknown metal doesnt mean its stronger than other metals it just means the dwarves don't know what it is.

I'm guessing since the canyon colossus is being sus in Cotl and that's not very fun, I'm guessing they want to blow up the golem spawns because they think if they grow it would end up with multiple canyon colossi in Gavel, and since they can cause land to be yeeted into the void I'm guessing the government doesn't want that to happen and is hiring people to blow them up.

 

The government doesn't care about the decay so they have no reason to care about the Canyon of the Lost either. They don't even seem to care about Cinfras County, considering that the entire area is swarmed with bandits.
