Which Is Better, Nexus Or Seaskipper?

Which one is better in general, and why?
Seaskipper lets you travel to any individual island that has a Seaskipper thing, but costs 4-42 emeralds
Nexus is completely free, but you can only use it for Nemract, Selchar, Llevigar, Mage Island and Pirate Cove. (and Grookwarts, but that's practically useless outside of the quest)
Both choice added because Potatomancer doesn't understand the concept of "better"

Grookwarts fast travel is near instant and will take you basically everywhere you need to go, it also isn't restricted by what location you go to/empty inventory.

 

Seaskipper gains an automatic advantage for me due to not quest requirement, I'm still too lazy to do grookwarts on all my classes.

 

Seaskipper if you want to grind a bunch of junk items or go to places like Durum
Nexus better for quick travel to specific cities
Of course neither is superior to spamming escape across the ocean

Nexus is faster, free, and has no chance of stealing an item so I like it better, but the seaskipper gives items and can go more places so I still use it. However having to go to a specific port city to go some places, and also the fact that sometimes you go to one and it doesn't have the pass you want is really annoying

 

I often forget the Nexus even exists.

 

What if you took the seaskipper pet and took it through the nexus, would we get a nexuskipper?

Like it took me a good minute to even remember what the nexus was

 

In some major-ish sea towns, you can find some fake dirt blocks making up a wall, which going through will take you to the nexus. (And to answer the actual question, I generally use nexus unless I specifically can't, i.e I'm trying to get to the various islands)

 

Seaskipper is so much better than Nexus

First of all, you get Seaskipper Captain

and that's about it

 

Nexus if you're just trying to get to and from Nemract/Selchar/Llevigar, Seaskipper for all the other places in the ocean or Jofash Docks.

 

That sounds like a speedrun tactic
