I've noticed it has been used in many recipes despite giving -200% ingredient effectivness. Why is it still used?

im no proffer (or crafter) but is something called flipping, or inversion (hence the obelisk of inversion drops it) what inverts the boosts of another ingredient if it has enough
-Effectiveness%, for example using an obeslisk core with a large lapis and other -effectiveness% ings you can make the large lapis give positive intelligence but making it give -spell dmg%, hopefully someone else can explain it better

So basically there are items with -stats you want and you can use obelisk core to make them positive stats
-ing eff with -stats= positive stats

ok i ll do a lil example with the most "flipped" ingriedent on the game : Ironwood Chips (flipped to make a +4 attack speed boot (or legs but usually u do boots) iron wood chip itself gives 32%-36% main attack dmg 75 hpr AND -1 attack speed .
with 2 plasteel plating placed under (each is -180%) and a major badge at his left (another -180%) u get -180% (3) that is 540% now from that 540% remove 100% cause the first 100% counter the whole ingriedent the other 440% goes on the flipped stat so u get +4 tier attack spped ; -36%(4)main attach damage;-75hpr (4)
hope i explained well and uhm sorry for my english .
p.s. [this boot is used on raw stacking( main % doest affect main neutral) with the leggin u get from eo)

Is this what you mean? https://www.wynndata.tk/cr/209601800

(I know how using negative effectiveness ingredients on negative stats works)

the two plasteel platings on the left aren't doing anything, because they're only affecting major's badge
