This feels like the little excerpt page of a romance novel oh god oh why

 

"OH GOD WHAT IS THA-"
At the end of the spiraling tunnel, she saw something she never thought she would ever exist long enough to see.
After jumping head-first into the dernic portal, she had lost touch with reality within moments. The Realm of Light faded to a pinprick of light and droning white noise. Slowly, though, the noise faded to silence. Lari angled her head downwards. Despite being engulfed in pitch darkness, she could somehow still see her hands. Yet she was not radiating light; it was the darkness that glowed with its pale aura. Blindingly dark.
And then her eyes beheld...
Bak'al? No, it was not Bak'al...
Shards of foreign stone hovered in the void. Their crevasses cast no shadows, for there was no light to shine upon them. Despite the pervading darkness, they stood stark and apparent in their black shroud. Without warning, the world flashed a hellish crimson. The islands were suddenly outlined, like moons eclipsing the sun. Only the sun was not bright--it was more like the ashen dust and the clouds of brimstone, the pale yellow sulfur haze after hellfire had broken loose from its mountainous prison, where the skies were a pale flame that lit not the land.
The gut-twisting smell of lightning and coal wafted through the air as Lari slowly regained her senses. The dark portal had blinded and deafened her to all but her own mind. And after the brimstone became unbearable, the buzzing of the portal began to fade in and out.
And thus screamed the silence.
The noise grew and resounded across the land with no sky. It shattered her ears; it shattered her mind. She knew she would go mad if she stayed in this dark realm, the crimson flame of the void growing to an unbearable darkness. Lari squeezed her eyes shut and threw her arms over her ears, but the intruding noise did not relent. The buzzing became the crashing of a waterfall, except of tenfold volume.
Lari, Lari, the noise screamed.
The voice. She had heard it somewhere. But where specifically? It was obvious, yet Lari could not grasp onto it. She only knew of the dark tunnel and the hellfire and brimstone and the foreign islands.
No. She did not know of any dark tunnels. Only Dern remained in her mind.
And through the fog of her mind suddenly burst a revelation.
"BAK'AL," she screamed. And in front of her stood Bak'al.
The noise suddenly relented. Lari's mind became clearer once again. She could still hear the faint buzzing, but it no longer bothered her. She understood. For the noise was not dark; it was pure.
"Your mind comprehends." Bak'al held out his hand. Lari looked up. She wavered for a moment, then reached for Bak'al's arm. She stood up. Dern expanded before her eyes. It was beautiful.
"The petty god they baptize Orphion;" Bak'al said. "he fears what he cannot understand."
Lari understood, though. She understood Bak'al.
She realized she was still holding Bak'al's hand. In her new, pure, clear state of mind, she saw through the gnarled fire twisting in Bak'al's veins. She saw him, Bak'al, not the corrupted, charred, man but the intelligence that resided in his shell.
Lari's heart bloomed with something new. It was not the strategic flirt she had fooled the soldiers of the battledground realms with. The emotion she felt was true; she was innocent.
And she squeezed the corrupted hand she still grasped. She looked into Bak'al's dark eyes.
Lari smiled.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT I FEEL DISGUSTING WRITING THIS PLEASE I DO NOT WANT TO WRITE ROMANCE STORIES

Idk that was the real mystery the player on behalf of his comrade shouted his deepest belief for the entire server to see I merely captured this moment in time for all to see like a Time capsule going off creating a worldwide eye bleach treatment.
