Getting Back Into Warrior, Any Advice?

    Hey! Just as the title said, I'm planning on getting back into Warrior. It used to be my main back when I started 7 years ago, and I had gotten to level 87. But due to all the changes with elements, the DnD update, and other core gameplay changes, I just couldn't keep up.

    So I guess my questions are this: how has the nature of playing Warrior changed? What kind of subclasses are available to me now? And what should I prioritize? (fun obviously is first and foremost). I really, really want to get back to playing the class that, to me personally, was really fun and enjoyable.

    Don't. I personally have a tank build, because warrior can become very nearly unkillable with some high defense and lifesteal/ health regen. Spell warrior can be powerful, especially thunder/water from what I remember, but personally I think heavy melee is the best build for warrior.

    this update added a new major id for warrior that lets it heal you and nearby allies with charge; its pretty op ngl

    Warrior has all of the archetypes available to it that other classes do. Personally, I'd not recommend using mana steal-heavy builds since they can be non-user friendly (warrior has short melee range. Also, this obviously doesn't apply as much to melee builds), and I would go very heavy into life sustain/tankiness when playing warrior

    A few things:
    Melee warrior is very good and has lots of support. Heavy melee warrior can be practically immortal

    Spell warrior is also quite good, but in my experience does not do as well in Legendary Island as melee warrior (excluding mythic builds of course), however, it does just fine in raids and EO

    The new Rally ID on Inferal Impulse and Rhythm of the Seasons is really really good, and will allow you to have much more leisurely gameplay

    Tips:
    Make sure you always have war scream up
    Shift+uppercut can let you fly if you hit a mob with it
    How to uppercancel as a warrior
    I would recommend cycling between your uppercut and bash spell when fighting so that your spell costs don't get too high
    Charge is your friend, use it to escape and dodge
    If you're playing melee, you can Shift+uppercut to avoid taking hits, or bash/war scream mobs to get them off you.

    Spell Warrior (Idol Airlines) here,

    Spell Warrior, as a whole, is best used in tight spaces, as most of its spells send the enemy flying with KB. In situations where you are in an open area, Uppercut Canceling is suggested.

    If you are interested in building Spell:

    Uppercut Canceling is definitely recommended, as it is quite literally just interrupting Uppercut with a bash. Another form would be to War-Scream during the Uppercut, but that is a bit finicky and isn't ideal, however it worked non-the-less.
    If you intend to build with Raw Spell, You should know that war-scream can out damage Bash, depending on the hitbox of the mob. In most circumstances though, Bash is the ideal choice.
    For Raids:​

    Uppercut does not Launch neither Orphion or any Colossus Body Parts, so It will automatically deal a TON of damage. In the Colossus's Case, War-Scream does significant damage in the 2nd and 3rd stages respectively, and can even reach other body parts, So rotating between Uppercut and War-Scream is the most ideal damaging pattern.
    Since Warrior naturally has decent defense, It is extremely wise to incorporate Defense into a build, as War-Scream's buff can also be quite the buff when your EHP is high. (EHP=Effective HP)


    This is also Incredibly True.

    The RALLY ID will heal you by 10% of your BASE health, and 15% to allies nearby. Also most Raids give you some form of Health Boost, so RALLY, in-turn will heal you even more.
    While we're on the subject of the RALLY ID, Some people will tell you that Infernal Impulse is better than RotS (Rhythm of the Seasons), However that is entirely up to you to decide. If you prefer Strength over Dexterity, then yes, Infernal would be better, but this only hinges if you WISH to be a support Warrior, Since RALLY makes Charge deal 0 Damage if you happen to run into anything.
    Some people may tell you that off-handing RotS is bad for damage, but at the end of the day, if you are doing raids, chances are, someone will be already cursing the boss, so don't worry about that.
    Also idol makes you an airplane. pog.

    Just a small thing: curses stack with each other, so the more people cursing, the better

    But yeah, ROTS as an off-hand is completely viable, I prefer to use it as a main hand though
