Why Aint There Wynncraft Youtubers?

i was looking up on yt wynncraft and all i find are like guides and quest walkthroughs

 

This is what I get when I search wynncraft

Of course we don't have as many youtubers as hypixel, because Wynncraft is a lot smaller than hypixel.

There used to be a bunch (Mr. Sebbelonien, HippieCrafting, GlitchedSlayer, etc.), but they all quit. Sebb quit suddenly like 5 years ago, but he came back for a few weeks when 1.19 came out. GlitchedSlayer was a similar situation, but he sold his channel to someone who deleted all his videos and never even used it for anything (a huge dick move to his fans if you ask me). Hippie just kept making videos until he faded into obscurity.

 

There used to be a lot of of Wynncraft Youtubers back in the day. IgbarVonSquid, Mr Sebbelonien, HippieCrafting ect. were quiet prominent in the community. The problem is that most of them primarily made Wynncraft content. Wynncraft as you know is known for its large periods of content drought which can go on for 8-9 months of little to no content. Restricting yourself to make videos on a game with long periods without content is bound to get boring as you can't really come up with many unique video ideas to keep your channel fresh unless a new update comes out which may or may not give you a week or two of extra content. Igbar and Sebb however were some unique cases as both channel owners were part of the mod team and gave you an insight into how mods do their jobs, I'm primarily talking about Igbar's Modsquad videos and Sebbs Hacker catching series thingy... Hippie also did a lot of guides along with some skits to add some spiciness to Wynncraft related content.

This sorta goes for any game really. Most Wynntubers got burnt out after a while with content drought after content drought and most just went on with their lives. That being said, there are still some dedicated Wynntubers (kmaxi for example) and Wynncraft related content from not-so-dedicated Wynncraft players such as the two videos from TommyInnit or InTheLittleWood's livestreams.

YYgamer, Shots, Olinus10, Kmaxi etc

Technically Shots does other content too but if you want Wynn videos these 4 are all options

There's a few others I know of that I can't remember the names of.
Also I know you mentioned that you saw a bunch of tutorials and stuff which is literally what Olinus' channel mostly is but there's some testing and stuff on the side.

Bigger youtubers who have tried/played this server include Inthelittlewood, Skeppy, Badboyhalo, Technoblade, Tomminnit and Tubbo (Tommy and Tubbo are the only ones who have actually made a video, Technoblade only plays this server from time to time and he made 1 reference to it in his first HSB video (even he saw the similarities i guess). Skeppy and BBH just played it for less than an hour)

Corpe_ and XavierEXE upload Wynn OSTs because they are composers.

Then there's a couple others like Novalescent, who uploads systematic recreations of his general suggestions, a few Wynncon (an unofficial Wynncraft simulator made by fans as a boss-testing ground) things, and some regular Wynn stuff too.

Craftedmovie and Grian are both server owners (although craftedmovie doesn't upload anymore and although Grian has a couple of Wynn videos on his channel as well as one Hermitcraft episode where he shows a trailer for 1.19, he doesn't make Wynn videos. I at least hope to see him do another Wynn showcase one day.)

(Bonus fun fact about Grian: His first ever youtube video was a tutorial on how to make corrupted spikes like the ones in the Roots of Corruption and Ice Canyon)

Asherwashere made like 2 videos on Wynn and I'm pretty sure more are coming at some point

That's all I can really think of right now, but there's more out there.

If Wynn was bigger there would be more for sure.
