Today, I decided to go and explore the ocean world border out of pure boredom. Eventually I came upon an interesting little cave on the western border. It contains these little creatures called ''Teki''
    teki.PNG teki2.PNG
If you want to see these for yourself, the rough coordinates for this cave are -2203/94/-4003

Anyway, they look familiar, don't they? Yeah, that's right. They look like GERTS.

Zombie-like creatures with pumpkin heads that dwell in caves and camps. This could be a stretch of a comparison because the Teki have pumpkins for decoration around their little cave, possibly meaning that they are just goblin-like creatures that wear pumpkins, but I would like to think otherwise. Anyway, how does this relate to the theory? Well, while it's assumed that Fruma is a square province in the square gap behind Ragni, but it COULD end up being like Gavel and Wynn in size, wrapping around until it ends at the same point as Olux swamp. I certainly doubt that Fruma would be so small, after all. Anyway, there's a popular theory that the mountains surrounding Fruma have memory-erasing properties, which is how all the fruman recruits have no memory of being in fruma. Sure, we do see a cutscene of a soldier chanting ''THERE IS NO WAR INSIDE THE FRUMAN WALLS'' at you, in an attempt to erase your memory, but what if that's just part of it? Maybe the room where they brainwash you is surrounded by mountains? Plus, you don't remember being in a chair in a prison...

Whatever, enough with that rant. This theory relates to that because the Gerts actually originated from researchers who studied the meteors in Gylia lake left behind by the Cataclysm very closely. This was a really interesting piece of lore that we were introduced to this update. Similarly, Yahya, Mehme and Nohno were driven insane by the ??? meteors, Sohso having fled to fruma before it could happen. Perhaps Sohso went to fruma to study what was up with cosmic magic and driving people crazy (using the mountains to test his experiments), maybe even to cure his 3 brothers of their insanity. Anyway, both of the cases I've mentioned have left their victims wiped of all of their memories, so maybe the Frumans use this magic in a way that doesn't turn people into Gerts or mushroom-chicken-home obsessed fools, but instead just removes the memories of them. My theory about the Teki is that they were Villagers from Gavel who walked a while along the ocean border to start their own civilization, starting in a cave. They were exposed to the cosmic magic for a prolonged period of time and, like the researchers in Gylia, turned into pumpkin-headed pseudo-greenskins. This cosmic magic, instead of making them incredibly stupid, just made them very posh and medieval, which is why the Teki have a princess and some warriors to defend her. Hell, maybe we'll meet the Teki at a greater level in Fruma, similarly to Gerts in Gavel.

I would just like to say that these Teki guys have probably been in the game since like 1.17-1.18 at most, likely before the idea that Gerts are Villagers that went insane was even thought of, so that makes this theory kinda unlikely, but it is interesting to think about.

Maybe Fruma will tell us more about the mystery of cosmic magic in Wynncraft, and it'll be one of the themes of the province. Only time will tell.

Fruma is the CIA confirmed, the conspiracy theorists were right all along.

(this is a joke please don't arrest me)

Actually though, this is a good theory. Maybe the fruman army have something similar to the memory erase sticks from MiB, but powered with meteor shards.

Hot stuff, really like this one! maybe thats why in fruma is considered impossible to escape from the mountain range, because is surrounded and comepletely blocked off by barrie- i mean because intense cosmic magic surrounds the mountains and drives people insane, maybe even turned into tekis (however the process of conversion into a green pumpkin monster must be rather long), wich begs the question, how did the corkians escape and they didnt go insane? perhaps they didnt spend very long there but crossing an entire mountain range must take a while, at least maybe it had some effect, maybe not by making them stupider or transforming them into monstrosities, but by making them smarter, hence electromagic, or perhaps they already knew electromagic in fruma, and they discovered a way to repel the effects of cosmic magic with it, wich allowed them pass, either way good theory!

I imagine the cosmic magic only takes effect if you're within the mountain, which is how the Corkians escaped by going over them.

I don't think Wynn wants to encourage going to the top of the ocean border mountains, since it breaks immersion. For instance, I found a place where you can see the void on the eastern wall

no, it would be discovered on the floor of Fruma, you just get teleported to someplace very far away that just looks like a narrow trail. You aren't going to be climbing any mountains.

If we get Fruma discoveries (which we 100% will when it comes out) then yes, that's probably going to be one of them.

I really like the theory but for some strange reason this interested me. I get that the wynn map kinda looks like a square especially since SE filled in the area behind rymek and that there is clearly a space behind Ragni but is there some technical reason as to why Fruma has to either be that small or a weird L shape like how Gavel is a rectangle, apart from maybe it'd look nicer on the main map? Although just thinking now, I suppose it has to be surrounded by mountains if people who leave forget everything.

If we take the lore on the wiki as accurate, the original Corkians were "highly skilled workers" that crossed through the northern mountains (near the Gate to Fruma), instead of the Ragni Outskirts (eastern mountains) that we came through. They then lost their memories and wandered onto the closest lump of land (which is Corkus). They were a splinter group, either splintering from Fruma, or a group of people that was planned to be sent through the Gate to Wynn (that gate you passed through in King's Recruit).
