How Do You Enchant Items?

I know I should know this by now, but I'm a level 105 mage, and I would like someone to explain to me pretty much everything about enchantments in wynncraft. I was confused about this because the only enchanter I found is in Maex, used in the quest dwarves and doguns IV. Also, I didn't think enchanting items was a thing until recently when I saw an image of an enchanted item. Sorry to be annoying, lol

I'm sorry, what? Enchanting isn't a thing in Wynncraft.

 

You can't enchant items post Gavel update, before you could do it by applying powders to an armor piece or a weapon but the system was completely revamped. You most likely saw a very old screenshot or someone preserved such an item.

I'm surprised people did not know this.

yeah you can't enchant stuff anymore, powders used to do that

 

some gear still has the enchantment effect, like the little purple glow on them, but all these items are from pre-gavel, when “enchanting” was still a thing (aka putting powders on stuff)

 

For those who weren't here before Gavel and are curious, there were only 3 types of powders; red, blue and green, and only tiers 1 and 2. (Elements weren't a thing back then). Red provided blast resistance on armor and fire aspect on weapons, green provided thorns and sharpness, and blue provided feather falling (which was useless since there was no fall damage) and knockback. Quite a bit less complex than what we have today, wasn't it?

 

Ahh that makes a lot of sense to me because i had an item preserved with fire aspect I on it.
