Did you just recently join Wynncraft, and want more Emeralds? Maybe you're mid-level and just want a few extra LE on hand? This guide is for you!

What is the Seavale Reef? Where is it? How many Emeralds can I expect?
    Seavale Reef Coords: [X: 330, Z: -3215]

The Seavale Reef is a coral reef directly east of the island city Selchar. It is home to many underwater treasures, that can be sold to a nearby Treasure Merchant for a great deal of Emeralds. The number of emeralds you can get per hour varies from person to person, and it also varies from level to level and class to class. If you are an extremely low level, it will take a lot longer to obtain a lot of Emeralds.

How do I get to the Seavale Reef and/or Selchar?
One of the easiest ways of getting to Selchar, and therefore the Seavale Reef, is through the V.S.S. Seaskipper, which can be used anytime, but is elaborated upon in the Combat Level 28 quest Misadventure On The Sea.

Alternatively, you can purchase a Boat from the Seasail Merchant for 2 EB and sail to the coordinates of yourself.

Okay, I'm at the Seavale Reef. What now?
Once you arrive at the Seavale Reef, you are going to want to make sure you do some preliminary steps:
    1. Make sure you have a relatively clear inventory. You want as many available slots as you can, so you don't have to make trips back to the main island of Selchar as often.
    2. You NEED a Breathing Helmet to efficiently gather Treasure. You can obtain The Breathing Helmet by completing the Combat Level 8 quest Underwater. You can obtain an upgraded Breathing Helmet for 80 Emeralds once you are at least Combat Level 40 from the Armor Merchant in Nessak. This item is elaborated upon in the Combat Level 43 quest Underice.
    3. (Optional) Familiarize yourself with the city of Selchar and the Seavale Reef geography. You're going to want to know where the Emerald Merchants are, where the Treasure Merchant is, and how to get back to Selchar once you are diving beaneath the depths of the ocean. This step is optional, but highly recommended to make the most out of your Seavale adventures.
I completed all the steps, how do I get started?
Once you have completed all of the preliminary steps, you are ready to go Treasure Hunting!

When you first dive into the Reef, you are going to notice items spawning all around you. These items include:

      • Small Pearl
      • Glowing Pearl
      • Large Glowing Pearl
      • Huge Pearl
      • Coral Ruby
      • Coral Amethyst
      • Coral Topaz
      • Coral Sapphire
      • Coral Diamond
      • Coral of Nelfors
      • Sunken Silver Nugget
      • Sunken Gold Nugget
      • Sunken Silver Bar
      • Sunken Gold Bar
      • Sunken Silver Bundle
      • Sunken Gold Bundle
      • Sunken Block of Silver
      • Sunken Block of Gold
      • Sunken Artifact

All of these items will be important later for obtaining Emeralds (except the Coral of Nelfors, it cannot be sold and is a quest item for later in the game.)

The Coral Diamond, Sunken Artifact, Sunken Block of Silver, and Sunken Block of Gold are the most valuable treasures. Make sure you pick up all of these!

You may think that the spawning of these items is completely random, and, well, it is (technically). However, there are certain "Hotspots" where these items spawn more frequently. These are the areas you are going to want to focus on.

    The Hotspots:
    Hotspot #1:

This Hotspot has an abundance of common items, as well as some more uncommon items that are worth more emeralds.
    The first Hotspot is located at [X: 310, Y: 15, Z: -3212].

    Hotspot #2:
The second Hotspot is only a few blocks away from Hotspot #1. This Hotspot is easily the most noteworthy because it is where Coral Diamonds and Sunken Artifacts, the most valuable of the treasures, are found. This Hotspot also branches off into a small cave, where more of these valuable treasures can be found.
    Hotspot #2 is located at [X: 323, Y: 10, Z: -3210].

The entrance to the small cave is located at [X: 324, Y: 19, Z: -3214].

    Hotspot #3:
The third Hotspot is another spot littered with common treasures, similar to Hotspot #1.
    Hotspot #3 is located at [X: 307, Y: 29, Z: -3217].

    Hotspot #4:
Similar to Hotspot #3, and #1, this is another spot full of common items. However, the amount of items here is noticeably greater.
    The location of Hotspot #4 is [X: 357, Y:20, Z: -3228].

    Hotspot #5:
Similar to almost all of the other Hotspots, Hotspot #5 is full of common treasure.
    Hotspot #5 is located at [X: 348, Y:28, Z: -3213].

What is this Set Armor I'm finding?
This is called Ultramarine Set! It is an armor set that focuses around Intelligence and the Water Element. It gives large bonuses to Mana Regen, bonuses to Spell Damage, and bonuses to Water Damage and Water Defense, making it useful for spell-focused builds. This armor set is for players with a Combat Level of 59-61, making it more of a mid-game set. However, if you aren't a high enough level to use this armor, you can sell it to the Blacksmith right next to the Treasure Merchant for an extra boost in emeralds!

My Inventory is stuffed! Where do I go to sell all this?

Congratulations on your haul! Let's get those items sold for some Emeralds!

You're going to want to head back to the main island of Selchar, and find the Treasure Merchant. This is where you are going to sell all of those treasures you found for emeralds. At first glance, it might not look like you can sell the items for very many Emeralds. However, the sheer amount of treasures you can get from just one hour of treasure hunting can easily net you upwards of 1 LE (again, it varies from player to player).

Here are some screenshots of the Treasure Merchant, and how much you can sell each treasure for:
The Treasure Merchant is located at [X: 107, Z: -3157].

    Here are his trades:

    I'm rich! Now what?
    Rinse and repeat, my friend!

Thank you for taking the time to read my Seavale Reef Guide for Beginners! I hope it has helped at least one of you in one way or another!

If you have any suggestions of anything you would like to be added to the guide, reply to this thread and I'll add it!

Probably one of the worst ways to make money, but it'll always hold a special place in my heart from back when I was grinding for hours while watching TV. Nice to see somebody talking about it positively for once, plus there's a lot of nice detail here, great work!

You should add something about ultramarine armor though, it's.. well it's an armor set, not amazing but something you can get if you want.

Also, just thought of this, there's only one place where you can stand without drowning to afk at, don't know the coordinates but you might want to include that spot too.

Selling is also a lot faster if you bank everything first and do multiple trips into the reef before selling. I timed it when I was still running it and it saves multiple minutes plus you don't need to drop items. I would recommend keeping bank page 1 completely dedicated to reef items so you can take 2-3 trips before selling. Some items also aren't worth collecting too many of, mainly the iron bars since they're as common as other items but have a lot less value. It's also a whole lot of clicking and getting carpal tunnel in exchange for a stack of emeralds really isn't worth it.

You also want to go into the reef with as few items as possible, I generally only took my wand since it frees up a lot of space which directly equates to money.

Some of the higher ticked items also only spawn in certain locations so you won't get them (or many of them) if you only hit up the 5 listed locations, you sometimes need to go a little off the beaten path.

One thing to change: the seaskipper can be used before finishing misadventure at sea.

I can remember grinding Seavale for hours before selling scrap when I discovered the scrap method of making money. Currently nerfed :(

(I mean the scrap method. Seavale’s pretty bad to what it used to be tho, so early game money making really sucks.)

im convinced that the point of diving is that it's arguably sanity-friendly, unlike most other forms of moneymaking in the game. sounds like you agree based on your own anecdote c:

Pretty sure you can get a breathing helm 2 without doing Underice at all (Its just required for the quest).

Yeah, without question, at least for me, I'm sure a lot of lootrunners would disagree though. I really like that there's no monsters, no clicking and no real thought required outside of a basic strategy, you can do it while doing other stuff in background which just kind of makes it relaxing.

Yep! You can technically buy it, however it is a level 40 item. Nevertheless, I included this information in the guide :)
