Is Light And Dark Neutral But Corruption Is Evil?

Corruption itself isn't evil. But Bak'al is.

I have an answer to this! I may not have the full story, but there is a bit of lore about this in WynnExcavation Site D:

Short answer: Light is good, Dark is evil, and the Corruption is basically the waste product of the two forces fighting.

Spoilers ahead if you haven't done this quest:

so light is good dark is evil when they mix together it become corruption which is neutral?

 

Light is good yes
Dark is bad yes
Corruption destroys. It has no opinions, no right or wrongs.
Some corrupteds follow Bak'al who serves Dern.
This does not mean corruption serves dern, though.

Corruption doesn't serve light or dark. Light can corrupt dark just as dark can corrupt light.

 

Light and Dark arent good or evil (for example, in RoL 2 Orphion wants you to kill innocent person), they are powerful forces, however Light is better alternative than Darkness for normal people (Thats why we save Orphion, kill The Eye etc...)
Corruption is neutral, destructive force, Bak'al isnt leader of it, however he is powerful enough to control it, he also serves Dernic Beast

 

This is how I've always seen it. Light and Dark aren't good, but corruption is even more evil than either. Also all of the evils committed in AHC are corruption related, not dern related

Light and Dark are 2 states.
The War is a nuclear war.
Corruption is the nuclear fallout s*** that stays there forever when they fight.

Bak'al is corrupted who is powerful and intelligent. He is able to control other corrupteds, not the Corruption itself.
Bak'al was (quite surely) forced to serve the Dern beast. Following the statement above, you see that Corruption itself does not serve Dern Beast.

Light and Darkness are 2 opposing forces fighting over dominance over each other.
They do not have morals, their goal is to defeat the other one.
Due to their effects, we see Light as good and Darkness as evil.

Whenever they clash, the Corruption is created. A chaotic force with no mind or intention. It just spreads and raises the undead.
Due to the way it is created, there is no "realm of origin" for it and does not have a beast.
There is also probably no way to stop it*, so if it is created it will overrun the world (old Nether, the Forgery).
*Ice magic can only slow it down, not stop it.

 

Neither Light or Dark are good. Both use people to further their goals. The Light doesn't care about morals as it's a primordial force, all it cares about is fighting the Darkness, that's what the Light is. Same goes for the Darkness. As someone pointed above, Orphion wanted you to kill an innocent person (the Olux mayor). Light is only good in our POV

EDIT: Corruption isn't as evil as it is chaotic. It has no mind so it attacks everything it finds. Think a "chaotic neutral". It probably has the same effects on the Darkness as it would on the Light

He does and it is quite strange to me.
Possible explanation could be that he uses the Corruption (but does not control it)

a few corrupted formations get formed when they fight, but no trace of them remains today, possibly because corruption needs a constant supply of light and dark but the surroundings only had light.

 

Pretty much, yeah, he can control most corrupteds, but mostly not the force itself.

Well, I think a small few spikes were created when they fought the first time, but nothing much else. If you mean the portal corruption in Wynn, then no, the nether was corrupted long before 0 AP, and the portal may have been open but buried for a while too.
