    In housing, trapdoors do not remain closed and you cannot place them on other trapdoors or on blocks if they do not have a connection to any block. In my opinion, this takes away a lot of freedom in building.
    So I wanted to ask whether this is a bug or a deliberate feature.

    If this is intended it's pretty bad.
    I hope it gets removed in the future as housing is somewhat limited rn
