Strange Wool Pillars In Almuj Bank

Today I was doing Jungle Fever. I made it to the Almuj bank and I noticed a couple of changes.

First of all, there's a merchant booth down there for some reason. Why? What could you possibly need a merchant booth for at a bank vault?

Second of all, there are now wool pillars scattered around the labyrinth for some reason. They are all blue and 2 blocks high with a torch. Here's a picture:

I don't know if these are supposed to be markers for remembering the path, since they are all on the dirt line I would assume that is indeed the intention. However, the labyrinth isn't even that big so it seems a little pointless. Not only that but the 2 blocks of wool just look so out of place and unintentional.. Plus, they all look exactly the same so it's not like they would actually WORK as guides

One more thing I'd like to say is that I was running around for a bit trying to find the exit when a white horse just appeared out of nowhere and started running around. I think it was just a playerghost that wasn't rendering but it was pretty wacky to see a random horse just charging around the labyrinth


But yeah, these wool pillars are really weird. If they are for path memorization, they should be changed to something less ugly

 

They were just place holders, they have been removed already on our side and will be gone next time the map is updated!

 

I thought they were to guide the player to the pressure plate.

This is my mistake- I was adjusting the spawn regions of the Emerald Golems in an effort to try and keep them from clipping to the surface as often, and used those blue wool pillars as markers while setting out the regions. I forgot to remove them before the map push. They're gone now, though.

 

Thanks for fixing that bug! It got me killed once on my hunted class

 

This reminds me of the Triggered Burger incident. For all those saying the maps never get updated from what I have seen they do rather often. A few years back a head was dropped on the edge of the ocean called “Triggered Burger” a few minutes before an update was released and whenever a world would start up, there it was! It was removed rather quickly but many players managed to pick one up before than. I had gotten one for myself but found myself rather confused as to if it falls under the “Vanilla item” rule. Ended up throwing it out in front of a mod after asking about three of them if it falls under the rule and two said they were rather unsure and one thought it would just be a good idea to throw it out so I threw it out in front of him. Always good to be safe rather than sorry! A rather long example of showing that the map gets updated quite a bit but I assumed the info might be helpful to someone.
