This is a guide by a Hardcore Ironman, for Hardcore Ironmen. While the methods work for other gamemodes, this is built in a way to be relatively safe, avoiding some of the most dangerous areas of the game on this particular grind. Good luck!

1-20 is time consuming to say the least. Starting your brand new character, follow these steps:
    • 1-2, you should head out of Ragni, make sure you complete the tutorial quest, and pick up Enzan's Brother. Kill zombies to level 2 just outside the city, and continue to the next step.
    • 2-9, start completing quests, starting with Poisoning the Pest, Enzan's Brother. These two quests will get you to around level 5 almost immediately. Make sure to be picking up rotten flesh from zombies for later steps! From here, start making your way to Detlas, completing Infested Plants on your way to pick up Tunnel Trouble. Completing these two quests will get you to around level 7-8, depending on how much you've killed or have been in a dxp server (recommended!) After finishing Tunnel trouble, do The Sewers of Ragni so you can unlock the dungeon. If you do not have lvl 9 at this point, run around and gather secret discoveries around Wynn Province.
    • 9-18, do your dungeons. Either run with a party or by yourself on a world that has a dungeon bomb going. This will take the majority of your time during this section, but it's the best available exp right now.
    • 18-20, time for more quests! Complete Deja Vu, followed by Creeper Infiltration in Time Valley/Pigman ravine. This will get you to 19 pretty easily, if not 20. If you are not quite yet to level 20, head back to Detlas and complete the Potion Making quest.
Alright! You've gotten to level 20 on your Hardcore Ironman! This process usually takes a few hours to a day, so I'll be breaking these levels into chunks according to time it should take. Now let's move on to 20-29!
    • 20-26, one last quest, Grave Digger. Complete this, and head to the west side of Ancient Nemract. By this time you will have your mobility skills, so Archers, Mages, Rogues, and Shamans should set up in a tree near the mob spawns in order to start farming levels and a bit of gear until lvl 26. Note that armor pieces are not as important as weapons at this point, we will be replacing our armor sets soon for something ridiculous.
    • 26-29, time to replace our armor set. What you need is a full set of Adventurer's Gear, it's a set of armor that gives a 50% exp bonus to the wearer, among with other important bonuses. This will be your primary armor set until you hit level 60! My preferred method of hunting the set pieces is running through Lion's Den at 773, -2230 and collecting the chests. Be aware that some of the boots gained this way may be Morph Gold, instead of what we want, so pick up multiple if you see them! After you've gotten your full set, it's time for some fun. Farm levels as you did in the last step until you've hit lvl 29, and can wear the full set.
Time for the fun part, this is the fastest you will ever realistically level up on Wynncraft. Make sure you have the entire Adventurer set equipped!
    • 29-38, here's the fun, but dangerous part. Find a friend with totems, and a world with a combat exp bomb active. Knights, Archers, and Rogues will have the toughest time here, so watch your health and don't get greedy! We'll be heading to the Nemract Cathedral, set up a totem near the center of the area. Here's where things get messy so seriously watch yourself. Start nuking the mobs spawned by the totem as fast as you can. Knights and Rogues will need to be fairly close to the totem, so make sure you have potions. Archers can stand higher up and avoid most of the damage but will still be targeted by the ranged skeleton mobs here. Mages and Shamans should set themselves up in the tunnel leading down to the Rotten Passage boss altar, coming out briefly in order to throw down your totem/meteor. Make sure to be using your Aura if you're a Shaman! This step will only take about 15 minutes if you're careful, and it's even faster if you have friends!
    • 38-48, things are starting to slow down a bit. From here do quests in Almuj Desert to get any gear you'd like or a bit of extra exp. I recommend avoiding Kingdom of Sand, Green Gloop, Wrath of the Mummy as these quests will kill you easily, with exception of Kingdom of Sand, it's the dungeon that'll kill you. Stable Story is a good one I recommend, as is Wynn Excavation A. Head to Nesaak, and go towards the House of Twain. Upon reaching the bridge on the way across the water, head across and directly in front of you should be a camp of some enemies that we'll be killing over the next day or two, either with totems or by doing /class and coming back in to reset spawns. Make sure you're using exp bombs to your advantage here, else this is going to be very slow.
Things are slowing down quite a bit from here on. If you like the fast exp you can spend some more time at Nemract Cathedral if you like, but diminishing returns makes it difficult to level after a while.
    • 48-55, Herb Cave is the way to go. Not the one with the lvl 60 enemies, but the first cave on the left after you've entered the jungle from the Bridge. Totems work well here, but so does the /class trick I talked about earlier. Use either to your heart's content, and start working on finding Jera, a looting set staple leg piece, as well as better weaponry. All classes should be able to find a safe spot if they look hard enough.
    • 55-60, home stretch! Time to go to the lvl 60 Herb Cave, the famous one. I recommend avoiding the lower area if you don't have a leveling party with you, as the mobs usually have too much health for you to handle on your own. The mobs in the upper portion will do just fine. While you level here, make sure you're upgrading your gear! You're going to need the survivability over exp from now on.
Congratulations, you've reached lvl 60 on your Hardcore Ironman! Either that, or you're writing angry comments about how a lot of this guide requires donating for totems or bombs. Not the case, if you have friends that are willing to help you out, but in my defense why play a challenge mode if you're not willing to help support the server? ;P

    nice guide +1
edit: maybe including some of the 1.20 grind spots for 1-10, especially the zombie spot on the edge of Nivla is worth doing. you can basically just skip 1-20 right there if you have items.

I've been playing too much Runescape, I keep forgetting the accepted way to say it is different here. Change made!
