How To Fix Assassin Multi Hit Missing Texture?

Is there anyway to fix missing texture of the multi hit spell? The mods I using are optifine G5 for 1.12.2 and Wynntils. And there isn't any issue when using spin attack or vanish.
(Can't post picture since I am new and this is my fist post)

 

Are these purple and black?
If so, I think these are the same with mage (actually they're cactus)

It's supposed to be the missing texture.

 

idk if its meant to be the missing texture, when i played in 1.15 the texture for multihit was pure black. if you play in 1.15 it may fix itself.

 

its supposed to be a nether portal block breaking texture, but it broke a long time ago and the missing texture has become the "actual" effect since they never fixed it.

 

imo its both, in modern versions its straight black, but in 1.12 its missing texture. idk which is right, but they both look good
