SPOILER Finding All The Special Mobs/bosses In Wynncraft

This thread is made to find all of the secret mobs and bosses on the world of Wynncraft, because there are actually quite a few and some even give useful stuff.
1. Corrupted Egg
On the Emerald Trail, there is a hidden cave inside a house, which is locked behind a door which requires a key that is right in front of it. When entering, you find yourself up against a corrupted egg. Upon, defeat, it hatches a miniboss called the spine shaker, that isnt very hard, but gives a very good helmet called spiketop, which gives a very large amount of health at level. The cave is also a secret discovery, which gives a lot of exp.

2. Van’s tower boss
at the top of Vagrant Van’s tower is a boss, which I forgot the name of. It is basically a low level Blade of Shade, but does a decent amount of damage so watch out.

3. Vandal Leader Randal
Next to the Invaded Barracks is a small hideout holding the Vandal Bandits. Its leader, Randal, hides in the very bottom of the hideout and boasts a ton of health at level, but can drop very good stuff.

4. Grookwarts Dernic Beast
Although I havent tried it myself, according to the wiki, after flicking a hidden switch in the main hall of Grookwarts and doing parkour on the candles leads you to a secret room holding a severely weakened dernic beast. It has a lot of health at level, so it should be hard to take it down.

5. The Taskmasters
Deep within the flesh pits outside the Lexdale Prison are 3 bloody caves holding armored zombies called Taskmasters. They boast 15k hp, and have access to multihit and (heavy?) charge, but shouldnt be hard to take down as they dont move very fast.

6. Eye of the Storm and Thunder Incarnate
Dont know if these count as minibosses, but near the canned abis cave is a grind spot holding everyones favorite quest who sadly got downgraded to an air mob and another thunder mob called the thunder incarnate. Although they shouldnt be hard to take on, the thunder incarnate thinks its very cool to cast explode over and over, so going close to them is basically a death sentence. Also, the myconids are pretty dangerous and can do a ton of damage if not prepared.

7. Matryoshka Idol
In the Iboju Village is a boss by the name of Matryoshka Idol. The boss has a whopping 12 phases, and each phase it gets faster, less tanky, but deals more damage.

8. Phoenix Prince
After completing a puzzle that takes you all over Corkus, you get to fight the dead prince of the Avos, the Phoenix Prince. Not only does he give you a decent tank helmet, the fight also counts as a secret discovery.

9. Rampant Overseer
Uncommonly spawning in an abandoned village in Corkus, the Rampant Overseer, nicknamed “Bill” is the fastest mob in the game, running around and spamming heavy teleport like hes super Sonic. He doesnt have a lot of health though, so if you can land a hit on him, he would probably die.
There are definetly more and they will be added later.

10. Lion in Lion's Lair
Near Bremmingar is a cave holding a Lion boss. It has access to multihit, and can do decent damage.

 

Some of these aren't so much bosses as just special mobs. One you did miss however is the matryoshkan idol in iboju village

 

if the spine shaker is here, then why not the phoenix prince? also matryoshka yeah ^^. When the Clock Mystery gets re-added, you can put that in too. I also agree with some just being special mobs more than bosses.

I dont see the 'rampant overseer' in the list?!? It's the fastest mob in the game. Spawns uncommonly in north east corkus at an abondonned village

There is a list of miscellaneous bosses that aren't in quests, boss altars, etc. on the wiki, at https://wynncraft.gamepedia.com/Bosses#Miscellaneous_Bosses. I don't believe it's been updated for new/removed ones in 1.20, though, and it's probably missing some other ones as well.

Corrupted Crab Master - Ranged mob that is the lord of the Katoa Crabs

Old Bear - Borrowed (kidnapped) bear that lives on the Bear Zoo

The Shroominator - Mushroom but deadly

Lonely Spider - Outcast Spider from the Nivla Woods

Mama Zomble - GGs if you find her

Potato Imp - Imp but tater tots

Cursed Cultist - Cultist that got cursed (hence the name)

Temporal Horror - One of the few withers in Wynncraft on the first phase

Spooky Scary Skeleton - O ma gerd so scury

Drunk Property Owner - Might've had a bit too much Nemract Whiskey

Sun God - God of the star that the world of Wynncraft orbits around (or is it the opposite?)

Spirit of Vexation - Because Vexes weren't cool enough

Spiny Skeleton Guard - Skeleton but cactus

Crystal Fanatic Leader - Hmm this is very similar to a WynnExcavation quest...

Kaven - Conspiracy Theorist

Howler - The conspiracy Kaven was researching

Corrupt Icy Shard - Sentient Ice Shard but Corrupted

Corrupted Raider - That looks like Garoth if you can see under the armor

Jon the Hermit - When the minion is more powerful than the boss itself, and Nilrem's Sealed Letter

Crazy Wolf Tamer - A wolf tamer but obsessed with wolves

Corrupted Foreman - Former mining captain

Raging Bandit - Might've tried soloing Bob's Reincarnation a bit too many times at level...

Queen Slime - Slime but every slime simps her

Fenrir - Norse wolf, and also Norse mythology

Yahya's Apprentice - Mushrooms

Potato Treasurer of Olux - Potato Imp but a villager this time

Demon's Eye - It's staring into your soul...

Sea Troll - U mad bro? but ocean

Subterranean Beast - Hanja Brood enemies but ok

Anima Weird - Better than Arcane Anomalys, located on Weird Cove

Flesh Amalgam - A lot of HP for a miniboss at Lv 70

Harpy Broodmother - Guards a key to a treasure stash

Travelling Battle Monk - Hmm very smurt yes... I await my challenger near Corkus off the border of the world...

Summoned Ocean Troll - Insert Sea Troll note here

I-15 Defense Unit - Might know him if you go to the Corkus Scrapyard a lot

Pirate Captain (South Corkus) - Has the Pirate Lieutenant as a second-in-command

Pirate Captain (Stormcaller Garrison) - Has the Stormcaller Garrison Commander as a second-in-command

Master Ice Mage - Found in the freezing heights, basically a rare mob there but it isn't

Byrnic Imp Priest - Haha fire go brrrrr

Firelord - Can drop the Unrefined Mysterious Metal

Hellhound - Best Hellhound and will always be the remembered Hellhound cause EotS makes no sense in the lore

King of Scorchers - Haha fire go brrr v2

Element Dragons - Dragon Nest in the Upper Heights, might know them if you did the Maex black market discovery

Angel of Agony - Gets madder and madder as the fight goes on

Deranged Swordsman - You get a secret discovery from him

Dark Balrog - Add back the regular Balrog

Rebel Miner Leader - We plan our attack today because uh... Coal and stuff

Skyshroom - Yahya but blue mushroom

Man in the Mirror - 2nd favorite to Bill

Nesting Dragonling Mother - y u attack my nest

Kaian Observer - Eye but Kaia

Omnispective Wanderer - Don't mind him, he doesn't really know how to Social Distance

Eyeball Cave Eyes - Eyes but they are all happy, sad, or weird

That Which Condenses - Oh, he's vanishing and- wait why is he back to full HP?

Optical Zeppelin - Might know him if you grind Witness Church (rip Glowbulb)

That Which Coalesces - That Which Condenses' cooler brother

Toxified Giant - That Which Coalesces' roomate

Protective Kantyr - I thought they were all chill!

The Lantern Keeper - I need light so i keep no one else touch.

Explosive Beast - Might know him if you got the Toxic Bounce discovery.

Some might be removed making this a bit outdated, and almost all of these are on the wiki as well.

 

I’d also consider the (Giant) Regular Zombie inside Psilo’s house to be a secret boss but it is very hard to kill at-level (300k hp with 20k hpr) and I may have used skill pots to defeat the Regular Zombie for the first time

also is the rampant overseer faster than the corrupted of worlds?

 

Can you consider the corrupted egg a secret boss? the one you fight after therck stairs
