What To Do If You Die During From The Mountains Quest?

I have talked to the villager he wants me to follow the dwarve, the dwarve is not at his original location and there isn't a hole for me to jump into, my quest book says to kill the ferli,

I have asked for help on discord but no one knows what to do, and there is another post on bugs

 

Is it at the stage where you go into the cave and subdue the big one, or is it the stage where you catch them? If it's the stage where you subdue the big one, just re-enter the cave, if it's the stage where you catch them just climb the mountain and restart it

 

any clue where the cave is?

 

If you're facing Anrod's house, then follow the path of burnt trees to the left, where you'll find a big gate.

this quest is so shit
when you die ur in fucking troms and at the end it spams attacks and instantly kills you even if you have a healing potion active

 

uhh, its a pretty great quest imo. the death thing isnt specific to this quest(common bug, hard af to fix, most of the time you spawn in lusuco tho, not troms) and idk what you mean by it instakills you. if you die that quick you have to play more defensively or get better gear. also, i find bosses that are a challenge to be way more fun than bosses that are too easy
