Mage/Dark Wizard My Diy Mage Build

This is my first time making a build by myself , it is kind of a budget build.

This build is for my lv97 mage ,focusing on spell damage & MR
but i am not sure if its survivability is enough or not (for things like The Hive)

That... looks pretty decent!

I would probably not use leggings of desolation (not very favorable to water) but I can see why you picked it; complements pro tempore I guess

Adrenaline is probably the better leggings choice; it'll end you with negative elemental defense but that shouldn't be a big issue

Mage does this weird thing where %spelldamage is not as effective (especially on nonmythic items) compared to raw spell damage; neuron gives mana regen and some spell damage but items like sizzling shawl (big negative thunder defense) or albacore (more balanced) will probably be more powerful

The build is a bit overflowing on mana regen -- if you assign 129 intelligence points to get 2-cost meteor and 1-cost ice snake you should find that mana is not a big deal. That being said 1 cost meteor is very cool and probably worth using (black catalyst set can help with this). Health is also a bit low.

The rings can be switched to BlackCatalyst set

 

a substitute to adrenaline could be shadow garb, but you are not 103 yet, so maybe the crossing
consider adding either dragon's eye or bcatalyst to get 1 mana meteors

Don't use leggings of desolation, do use black catalyst. Assign 129 intelligence points.
