SPOILER Lari Info + Orphion Raid Ending

Basically after doing the new "Orphion's Nexus of Light" raid Orphion talks to you and says some lore stuff, but what's important is that he said in high gavellian "You must stop her, or the war will never end", right after talking about Lari.
Now, I dont know about you, but it seems like a certain elf girl is gonna pay for taking away my chances of fighting Bak'al for the 7th time

 

Ok. What? Orphion goes from lari's important to "stop her"? B-but why?!

 

If im not wrong, the dialogue after the fight is unfinished so i think it isnt time to make any conclusions yet, but idk

 

makes sense, but that's probably just to fix some mistakes and polish the dialogue, I dont think that theyre randomly going to change a lore point

[6/10] Orphion: The war is far from over, my Pulse. Like Lari, you must go beyond the veil and bring the world to balance.
[7/10] Orphion: Light can not exist without the Darkness, just as the Dark can not exist without the Light.
[8/10] Orphion: This world has been thrown out of balance and the realms continue to war.
[9/10] Orphion: Before you face the Darkness head on though... There is one more you must face.
[10/10] Orphion: You must stop her, or the war will never end.

He's not talking about Lari (at least, as of this dialogue). He explicitly says:

[10/10] Orphion: You must stop her, or the war will never end.
BEFORE we face the darkness head on. Lari is in Dern, we can't stop her before facing the darkness, it has to be someone who we'll fight below level 100. Perhaps Qira, perhaps Fruma Queen, perhaps someone else entirely, it's not clear yet. But almost certainly not Lari.

Besides, he doesn't actually indicate he's still talking about Lari, he stops talking about her, then a few lines later starts saying there is "one more" we must face.

 

Yep, I can agree on that. You must consider, this raid is made for lvl 80+, so you will still have some journey before you.

I mean I was glad I don't had to fight him, considering you are lvl 79 at this point and seeing how easily he defeated Tasim and Aledar (both ~105). I think we're still missing a final piece. At first I thought it was straight up dumb to follow Bak'al. But look at it in this way: she was probably the least exspected and best distraction for the Dern Beast we could ever have hoped for. Thus giving us the time to get strong enough to venture into SE and destroying one of the main outposts the Beast had. The more I look at it, the more it makes sense.

 

"Before the facing the darkness". We don't face her again before going to silent expanse. So it's either Qira or Fruma Queen, personally think Qira is more likely.

 

I'd very much like it to be Fruma Queen but if I'm not mistaken I'd heard Fruma would be to expand midgame

 

i doubt its qira because she seems to be a rebelling dern creature herself. The fact she is a dark color, is building an army, and ISNT attacking Gavel with it pretty much shows Qira is not trying to destroy gavel and is instead trying to defeat Dern.
Fruman Queen is a much more likely.

 

Then the dialogue really is a wip, I cant see how someone who has like 2 lines in the game referencing their existance can be the only possible "her" withouth it being explained better
Edit: nvm I just discovered that the fruma queen is only referenced as a "Her", so if that's what the ct were referencing then that's pretty clever, too bad there isnt uppercase high gavellian for the "H"

 

He just said "the war isn't going to end", not darkness is going to win.

Since Qira is kind of obsessed, she is maybe planning to raid Darkness with all her creatures, breaking balance again. Then darkness attacks back, rinse and repeat.

 

I doubt that someone like Qira would not know of the balance of the realms. She's probably just going to weaken the Dern Beast to restore balance.
