Community Event Lore Discovery- This Time, You Decipher It!

Welcome back to another one of my little lore posts.

I've made another discovery, but I've got something a bit different for this post.

This time... YOU decipher the lore!



Hints can be provided if necessary, but I'm hoping you'll be able to work together and figure out what this means.

And believe me, it's pretty crucial to Wynncraft's lore.

 

Siegefried really liked mushrooms, so he payed a lot of gold for them

You're starting to get a bit closer.

This has to do with Siegfried, and it has to do with the talking mushroom.

There's a reason I tagged 1.20 in the post, though. You might have to look ingame to figure this one out.

 

Gyran is a fake and the original Siegfried died when Ariodo captured him and turned him into a mushroom
He then slowly lost his sanity and decided to live on some random swamp island near Ahmsord, and doesn't tell you any of this because he doesn't want to admit it/is somewhat crazy now

This is also why he is so surprised when you take him into the Siegfried graves

 

After Siegfrieds death, the talking mushroom profited off of the marketing of Siegfried by making actors play him (?)

 

siegfried is in love with the mushroom, and proposed to him with a bar of gold

 

Alright, it seems you guys are a bit stuck on the bar of gold.

The bar of gold has to do with a very special new quest that was introduced in the 1.20 update. It's only obtainable if a certain someone survives an event, and it's probably your best bet at revealing the answer.

This is almost spot on. The only thing you've messed up on is the numbering of the actual Siegfried. A quick look at the graves should pretty easily show you which one it is.

 

I think I got it.

The Talking Mushroom is Siegfried III (The one whose helmet is blocking the sign). The bar of gold is the Siegfried Agent Key, which unlocks Siegfried's Grave. Gyran was likely a test subject of Ariodo, but wasn't the mind that got transferred into the Mushroom. Siegfried III did, however. After seeing how Siegfried turned from a once-noble hero to a capitalist icon at his grave, that probably explains why the mushroom is so silent.

Looks like the devs finally gave us a resolution for the Talking Mushroom conundrum. Additionally, it explains why the Talking Mushroom knows so much about the world, all the way up to the Dern portal.

I had no chance of getting this because i havent done the siegfried quest yet. :P

 

Check the mushroom dialogue for Siegfried's graves. Additionally, the same mushrooms are growing on Siegfried III's grave.
