Mage/Dark Wizard Extremely Strong Budget Tcc Mage

I present to all of you, this beast of a build that features NO mythics and all around fairly cheap items. it's great for tackling TCC (though still make sure to grab giant if you can!)

The highlights of this build are:
1 Mana 7.5k heal (4k first pulse using KOH)
1 Mana teleport
2 Mana 14k meteors
1 Mana ice serpent
41k EHP, 13k raw
8/4s Mana regen
82% walk speed

I ran tcc with this build 3 times without issue.

The fourth time, two of my party members died 30 seconds into the boss fight. I managed to not die and spam heal enough to keep my damage-dealing teammate alive for over 10 minutes, successfully completing the raid with only 2 people.

12/10 would build again

 

cool build, but full morph does effectively the same thing, with higher ehp and mana regen

 

I'd recommend not just powdering thunder for every item. I'd powder either FFT, WWT, or just full FFF or WWW on cascade. Chain lightning in general is only useful for proccing stealing IDs, while curse/courage provide great dps boosts for spells and fast melee attacks as well as curse being obnoxiously strong in group contexts. As for the armour powders, they're not very good with a rainbow weapon, especially kill streak which is the 2nd worst special imo. It also messes with your earth defence which isn't too bad but with a raid like TCC where a lot of mobs do earth damage, it adds up. Also an FYI that morph can do what this build is doing for even cheaper
