    • RoL II is pretty boring unfortunately. Also, the flashback map remains very confusing to navigate.
    • Lari, and Dullahan, are pretty solid as Wynncraft quests go. I think half of the hate comes from a position of absolute ignorance, but the other half I think makes more sense - I have a good guess about this, but I'll wait until I finish the questline to say.
    • The significant absence of player interaction makes the quest a little boring. It's not a good enough story to have replay value imo.
    • The cutscenes are up to modern standards, which is nice. The cinematography is a bit lacking in places though. There's a tendency to force wide shots, which I get, because character models, but also does hurt the experience sometimes when there's nothing going on. Atmospheric effects could mitigate that - they would help sell the text-heavy story better, with the prevalence of wide shots. General effects are good - not the best Wynncraft has, but perfectly fine, and quite good by general standards (this is part of what really sets Wynncraft apart, after all).
    • The Warden of Wisdom is pretty tough for the level (also Slowness and Weakness long timers :pensive_cowboy:). Not unfairly so, but midgame fights seem to be becoming progressively more difficult. A couple more tough fights in this level range and CoW will become considered a pushover.

    • The non-combat parts of both quests are pretty poor. The sea lantern bridge inside the Taproot is ridiculously fast, making it needlessly hard for slow builds. Likewise for the speed escape in Dullahan's castle.
    • Overall, RoL II and III, much like D&D, exemplify the best and worst that Wynncraft has to offer.

    Both quests were a bit above average in terms of enjoyability in my opinion, without acknowledging all the unfortunate bugs I ran into during some parts.
    I haven't been able to finish part 4 yet though, because a bug is preventing me from progressing..

    Anyway, I'd say the worst part about the quests (especially part 3) is the insane amount of dialogue during cutscenes. It's the same issue that A Journey Beyond had.. There's too much text to read in such a short timeframe, it's hard to keep up with what's actually going on while reading.

    In RoL 3, even though I enjoyed the story, the amount of cutscenes was insane, even on my first run. Some of those could have very well fit Secret Discoveries, seeing as currently most of Gavel discoveries I've seen are just "hey, we told you this stuff in a quest, but here it is again". The parkour's second section was annoying to me since I always barely missed the last platform, but I think I just did something wrong. The boss fight was good and fun though. (also wtf an actual semi-challenging "Run" section in Wynncraft? this does increase the quest's ranking)

    Overrall it's pretty good, but just decrease the dialogue, OR make the cutscenes/storytelling more replayable. As Druser suggested, atmospheric effects could be nice.

    Wynn has this really awful habit of making pretty sweet quests for a first playthrough that become absolutely mind-numbing tedium for every other subsequent playthrough. The only step I saw taken to counteract this was the 52 line dialogue section of RoL 4 being explicitly noted as skippable (thank god), but unfortunately it was very hard to enjoy most of these quests when in my mind I'm thinking "man, I'm gonna have to sit through several minutes of cutscenes for every single class I want to run orphion on aren't I"

    Small reminder, due to the nature of soulbound, if you want endgame weapon tomes or any of the other tomes not in TCC (a good half of them), the entire realm of light questline is required to do orphion. Really looking forward to doing this 14 times, definitely.

    Much the same as with the old quest - it says "follow the road" but the road is windy and branching, so I often spend a lot of time wandering trying to figure out where to go.
