I Never Understood Why There Is A Random Floating Island Here.

at this coords https://map.wynncraft.com/#/-429/64/-2035/max/wynn-main/Wynncraft there is a random floating island since forever similar to ones at jofash docks or the floating islands themselfs anyone knows if this has any meaning or any relation to lore?

 

Not lore related. Just a bit of nostalgia, I'm pretty sure this island was added years ago and people don't want it gone because it's been there for so long and doesn't harm anybody. A fun little easter egg I guess, similar to that hourglass in Detlas

In the official wynncraft map even tho its floating, the water makes it super cool to look at

 

I can't wait for this island to be a major lore piece in how Ahmsord v2 is made in Wynn.

This island will become a new portal to Dern, change my mind

 

My guess is that since there's a big line in the sand towards it and there's a hole where it used to be in the ground, a shockwave from the Canyon Colossus in gavel knocked up this tiny piece of land

 

This is actually where u fight the dernic beast. Its also where fruma is and the secret love child of orphion and lari

 

i actually like the island it remebers me of my first quests ;)

 

I love that island tho its the best

 

its just vibing there, it pauses you to have a smile everytime you pass by the coastal trail

 

Its so funny how i knew what island you were talking about without checking the location

 

On the map, it looks like it's on the ground, but you see the waterfall, so it's kinda like an optical illusion

 

Why wouldn't there be an island there?

 

No, it's where you fight Yahya (I still need to work on that theory jeez), who IS the Dern Beast, and is also the love child of Orphion and Lari, and is the Queen of Fruma, who is the love child of the talking mushroom and this island.

Omg I forgot about that island!! I love it so much I used to go up there and think I’d found something super unique and cool when I first started playing

 

This island has been in-game for years at this point, even before the countless Wynn revamps, ain’t no way it’s flying back to the isles on our watch.

Though, if it ever does, this will truly signify the End Times of Wynncraft.
